Anime-BlackWolf: Nope, I think they are working on a console port of "Exhumed" for the PC.

Would be VERY nice indeed. The PC version is nice/different, but the console version would be even better. It is kind of a Metrovania-inspired game on consoles... :)

Indeed, the press release mentions an 'enhanced' Powerslave for PC and consoles:

Yeah, if you search the internet, you can find out the "old" "Exhumed EX" / "PowerSlave EX"-Modder Kaiser now works for Nightdive itself. :)

He talks about working on three (!!!) projects at once at the moment. "Doom64 EX", "Shadow Man EX" and another one. That "another" one can only be his "old baby" "PowerSlave EX".

Day 1 purchase for sure. :)

Ah well that's cool too. But I'm curious why that'd be bigger priority for porting over Turok 3 (since T3 seems like it'd be a bigger seller than Powerslave). Just easier to port maybe?
Who said they wanted to port over "Turok 3" at all?

Part 3 (N64 exklusive) seems to differ quite greatly from parts 1 and 2 and it is not as fondly remembered as part 1 and 2. Just look at the comments on youtube...

Part 1 and 2 had a build-in fanbase of PC users to make the remaster work financially easier.

We must not forget: Turok is a franchise. They must buy a comic licence AND the N64 code. So "Turok 3" would be more expensive to produce, as an "Exhumed" port.

And the "Exhumed EX" port was almost ready a few years ago. I played it, was / is quite good for a port made by one (!) person.

"Is this the game you were gonna announce 3 weeks from now?"

"NO"

I guess the other hint is for something different.
I would guess with 505 and Sony now both on board, we'll be getting Death Stranding probably around Christmas.

That would be even better. Because than we can assume even more games are in the pipeline.

They are working on something "SiN"-related, at least 4 Remasters are in the works (SS2, EXH/PS, SM, D64)...

Let's hope another wanted classic is on the way (myself was quite disappointed about "Forsaken" last time).

General Arcade is working on bringing another classic to GOG:

"Just a quick (update) we are working on another revival of a classic game for Steam and GOG. More news beginning of the next year."
They specialize in porting, and their previous project was Metal Wolf Chaos XD, so here's hoping it's another console game that's getting ported.

So the game that General Arcade, and possibly Night Dive were hinting about appears to be Witchaven:

I recall Nightdive saying they were doing something with Witchaven (bought the rights?) years ago, glad to see something happened with that. Despite the notorious mediocrity of the games, they have hundreds of votes for some reason. Maybe the new version will be improved from the ground up.

Embracer Group (formerly known as THQ Nordic AB), owner of THQ Nordic Gmbh and Koch Media (among others) have bought Gearbox. This could potentially mean that they'll re-release the old Duke Nukem games here on GOG, maybe even bring other Gearbox titles.

According to this article, the Director of Production Services at Sega of America Austin Keys' LinkedIn job description includes the following:
"*Port popular Sonic titles to new-to-SEGA PC platforms, expanding availability of Sonic titles to a wider digital audience."
http://www.sonicparadise.net/2021/02/filtracion-juegos-populares-de-sonic.html

Those PC platforms may not necessarily include GOG, but time will tell.

I would love to see some Sega franchises here. Sonic isn't one of them ;), Yakuza however.
Nope, sorry...
