tfishell: Is that "Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War - Master Collection" on Steam?
avatar
Nergal01: That's the one. That and Space Marine seem like good bets if Sega really starts selling their games here.
To me, in general older games that don't have a strong multiplayer component that would require porting to Galaxy are decent candidates. SEGA's oldest Steam releases include Company of Heroes, Rome Total War Collection, Dawn of War GOTY, The Club, AvP2010, Mega Drive and Genesis Classics and related, etc.

But for now one or more Alien titles (based on the alien in the tweet), and perhaps one or more Warhammer titles, seem most likely.

viperfdl: I wont get my hopes up before I see an actual SEGA game here.
Ditto. I certainly wouldn't mind Sega-owned IP showing up here, but some random tweet is not much a proof of anything.

Firstly, yes, the tweet is undoubtedly aimed at that.

... these would be nothing short of amazing, but only time will tell if GOG has actually signed a deal with SEGA.

There's also this little bit of info to get excited about... and one is tempted to fill in the dotted line.

Sulibor: Maybe Dawn of War ? It could be in line with the add during the "Skulls" event, about classic Warhammer games coming to GoG.
When exactly did they say that? Just asking, because I didn't follow the event.

Agreed. I want to complete my Streets of Rage collection on GOG. I mean the Steam version is already DRM free but i want to see it on GOG.

That would mean we only need Sony & Microsoft to sign.
Seems like SEGA deal is now "official"

Condemned Criminal Origins (Alas the sequel was Console only)
Alpha Protocal
Total War: Rome 1 and Medieval 2.
Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War 1 and the Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, and Soulstorm expansions

Not sure those were listed in the thread when I read it.

They mentioned Alien Isolation, Two Point Hospital and Warhammer 40k Space Marine Anniversary Edition.

Along with more releases from SEGA over the next few weeks.

Thanks. :)
SEGA actually came around? I guess pigs do fly.

Space Marine 1 is great news and if we get Dawn of War games here, then I will finally be able to de-Steamify them both.

Eagerly awaiting the announcement.

Two Point Hospital would be an instabuy for me. This is the most excited I've been for a GOG sale in a long time.
