tfishell: Are we really sure of that though? It could be more complex than meets the eye.
Sure it can, but at least it's not a secret that Psygnosis (who made Disckworld games) were bought by Sony.

Not quite;

Perfect made the games, Psygnosis published them, but considering there was some kind of legal dispute between the two of them and Perfect no longer exists I imagine that's where the issue will be (though that shouldn't be a problem for Noir as someone else published that).

That's something new to me, but it's still not looking that bad, at least they know who they need to find to secure the rights.

But if there's bad blood between the two rights holders they may not wish to reach an agreement, so unless GOG or someone buys the rights even knowing who holds them may not help...

Though it would be a shame if the games were post forever because of pettiness.
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy will be released for PC on November 10. There is no mention of GOG in the announcement, but since THQ Nordic has been bringing almost all their recent releases here day 1, there is a good chance that the game will also follow suit.

Maybe "(Recettear and Chantelise having not returned) has something to do with GOG bringing Fortune Summoners (and maybe This Starry Midnight?) aboard; maybe a completely fresh deal is being worked out for all CF games.

Daymare 1998 might show up when it is finished (though I assume that'll be a year+ away)

The developer behind Train Valley 2 might bring the game to GOG:

The first Train Valley game was advertised on their site as coming to GOG but it never materialized. Here's a wishlist link for the second game:

And this one's quite a stretch, but there's a trailer for Mafia II in the installation folder for GOG's version of Mafia. Kind of odd to include it stuffed inside the game folder and not as some separate downloadable extra, unless it's somehow accessible within the game itself, which I haven't found.

I had a blast with the first Train Valley, so I'm thrilled to know there's a sequel on the way. And if it makes its way here, all the better! :)

timppu: I want Crysis 2 and Skyrim on GOG! Nowadays it is even believable they would end up here, the only question is when. Crysis 2 isn't probably that far away, I presume. Also I've decided not to buy Skyrim on Steam (since I am waiting it to appear on GOG instead), earlier I said to myself I will buy the full edition on Steam when it reaches under 10€.

CARRiON-XCII: Fat chance with Skyrim, now that is has the Creation Club built into it. Same with Fallout 4.
I'm hoping for the Legendary Edition rather than the buggered Special Edition.

With mods the Legendary was already better, graphically and gameplay wise, the only reason to get the Special Edition is if you're playing on a PS4.

They gave me the "reamster" for free on Steam, as I owned the whole collection already, and I only installed it long enough to mine the trading cards and then deleted it to go back to the functional copy of the game without the Bethesda account tied to your mods and a third rate hack job of inferior baked in mods.

I'm too also want Crysis 2 and 3, Dead Space 2 and 3, Mass Effect series and Dragon Age 2 (and maybe even Inquisition). BUT! I wonder why there is a Strike Commander on GOG, but no Wings of Glory or Pacific Strike which is the same Strike (or Wing if you prefer :) ) Commander but only in WWI/WWII setting respectively?

Also, is there any news about Ubisoft bringing on GOG Far Cry 3 and/or 4? Or Assassin's Credd 2 and later?

Congrats on being right about Epic games and Jazz. :)

I think we can have hope for EA games that are still on Steam/basically pre-Origin, so Crysis 2, Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 1 & 2 (I'm sad ME 1 still isn't here!).

Me too, but as far as I know there is two problems with ME1:

1. Rights. First one was developed with Microsoft and they can still have some rights.
2. Pinnacle Station DLC and Noveria. There is some problems with lightning on new cards which can't be fixed by now. Also, there is rumors that source code for Pinnacle Station DLC is lost and fixing it would be very problematic.

But still, I would be very glad if this series would arrive to GOG.

1. Wrong! BioWare developed the game before they were part of EA, Microsoft however published it.

1. This is why i wrote "with Microsoft" not by them. :) First game was, for some time, XBOX exclusive and Microsoft helped making it.
