I'm not talking on a free update, I'm talking about not giving us a timeframe and treating their customers like s**t!

From what my sources say, GOG was not supposed to even MENTION the update was coming.

It's not easy to give a timeframe when Bethesda and Night Dive are the ones responsible for working on the update and untangling their own mess that they have created.

I think waiting and understanding why you have to wait is good in this case if means having all add on campaigns drm free and "hopefully" a multiplayer mode that does not require a Bethesda Account but that one is up in the air. I think it's in GOGs best interest to not rush this and get slammed even more for cutting content.

GOG has never cared about multiplayer DRM so I'd assume the Bethesda.net requirement for Quake 64 is the main issue.

I know, i just hope this issue will be resolved rather than cut and while i have never been much for multiplayer myself, this is Quake we're talking about after and i don't think cutting it out would go over well. GOG only MP would work but i guess some people would then complain over lack of crossplay.
It's also another reason why i hate this remaster/remake era we are living through and how it fucks over older games with new forced in drm'ed connectivity

I do not care about the "update". What I care about is, that the soundtrack is not included as a goodie. It was on the CD, ready to play it in a CD player.

PS It is also time to to report GOG for false advertising, as the complete Imperator Rome soundtrack is not complete. I opened a ticket in June.

PPS Missing songs have been added to the complete Imperator Rome soundtrack.

No, I mean ask questions!
I just finished Quake along with the last campaign on Nightmare and got all achievements possible, what an awesome game!

Nope - looks real scaled down compared to darkplaces
From Bethesda support:
Hello,

Thank you for contacting the Bethesda support team.

My name is Carl and I will be happy to assist you. You should probably ask GOG when this will be available.

There is no official information from our side. If there is anything to announce from our side then we will do that on our website as well, just like with the Steam version.

Thank you for your interest and support!

With best regards,
Carl
Your Bethesda Support Team
I don't have much hope anymore. Seems like Bethesda & Nightdive is a combo that doesn't work well with GOG at all.
