One thing that always bugged me with this downloader. Is it possible to download extras one at a time (useful when there are new extras) or are we forced to download them all?

If there's a way, I can't seem to make it work.
Having some issues, every time i try to run, i get this beautifull screen: http://i50.tinypic.com/2zedzpj.jpg

Windows 7 / latest stable version of downloader

Wuff, I do not know, what happens, but the downloader conficts with my system soo much.

I can operate ok for an hour, but after that Dowmloader crashes by taking everything with him - VLC player spits out "sum(%)" errors, I can't start any new applications due to a "not enough memory" error and bandwidth goes to zero.

I tried everything, ESET virus scan, Search and Destroy, Combofix.

Since I wanted to replay Witcher, which is 15GB download, guess how much restarts I had with download speed at 700kb/s. Well, no I am at 14,06 GB - if that sh*t gives me an error in the end, I will kill someone.

Yes, it is possible. Just not automated.
For example, an url to download all Baldur's Gate bonus content: gogdownloader://baldurs_gate_the_original_saga/886,baldurs_gate_the_original_saga/888,baldurs_gate_the_origina l_saga/889,baldurs_gate_the_original_saga/891,baldurs_gate_the_original_saga/892,baldurs_gate_the_original_sag a/887,baldurs_gate_the_original_saga/890

If you want one, like for example soundtrack, you can paste this link into your browser: gogdownloader://baldurs_gate_the_original_saga/891. Every download is separated with a comma.

Someone had this problem before, it was caused by a corrupted .NET installation. Please verify that you are running a valid build by downloading this tool: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2008/10/13/8999004.aspx

Choose .NET 3.5 SP1 for verification.

I don't think downloader is the cause of this. First of all try locating a logger file for the Downloader (by default: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\GOG.com), so I could know why the app is crashing on your system. The info you've provided does not hint on anything.

Thanks, I guess. I hope making it automatic will be a future feature of the downloader (unless I can find a list of all those links).

It was. As soon as I downloaded everything [the one 2GB file was corrupted, but I downloaded it using browser dwnld], everything went smoothly. Installed, playing. No more errors anywhere. It was Downloader's caused problem for sure. I am sorry, that I can't provide additional info - but the fact is a fact. If I can help you somehow, let me know [because I like GOG].

version 3.0.52.0 / windows 7 64-bit en / bugs:

1) While settings window is open, the main downloader window does not properly regenerate (if you drag some other window over it, it leaves traces) -- at least if no downloads are present. It might have something to do with multi-monitor configuration, as it only seems to have this issue on my 4th monitor.

2) "Browse" window does not show Network Places or mapped network drives. It's the age of NAS boxes, I want to save to NAS, not to my local HDD!

3) I want to be able to type in (or copy-paste) the path to save to, "browsing" is so annoying if you have a complex directory structure!

4) F5 ("refresh") button doesn't work in the "Browse for Folder" window (come on, just use the standard windows Browse control, please!)

kuteninja: The GOG.com downloader works perfectly on my Win7, but it only lacks one critical option, a download speed limit; since it's impossible to play online games while downloading something with the GOG downloader. It would be great to limit the download to, maybe 80% of my internet speed so I can still play while I'm downloading the new game.
Same here. I've got slow internet connection and I have to share it with others, so transfer limit feature will be awesome for me. Something simple like in DownThemAll or uTorrent.

Besides that I have no problems with GOG Dowloader.

EDIT: Hmm... Unfortunately I had program crash a while ago.

Not a downloader bug but there are some typos in the API responses for file paths
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/lgogdownloader_gogdownloader_for_linux/post18

Some minor inconsistencies in the API
- Sometimes the file id number is stored as string instead of integer
- Some paths don't have leading slash

Let's take Planescape Torment as an example

"installers":[
{
"id":0 <--- this id is stored as integer
"path":"placement_torment/setup_planescape_torment.exe" <--- no leading slash, typo in the path
"size_mb":"1010,1"
}]
"extras":[
{
"id":"899" <--- this id is stored as string
"name":"manual (50 pages)"
"path":"/placement_torment/extras/pst_manual.zip" <--- leading slash, typo in the path
"size_mb":"4"
}

Thanks for the suggestions. Most of them are on our to-do list.

Yes, everything was OK after restarting the app.

I've noticed another little bug. When I enlarge window size and then shrink it to it's minimal size, it doesn't look like it should. Screenshot below:

Win 7 whenever I try and add a game from site (IE9) I get either "send log to support" or "GOG launcher is not responding" messages

I cant change my download folder. The path bar is all greyed out and if I click browse and pick a folder it doesn't do a thing.
