It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Could you update the embedded downloader icon (64x64) with a 256x256 to accommodate Vista/Win 7 large icon support?

Looks somewhat silly.

I did them myself using the goodie wallpaper images and IconFX.
It takes no effort at create a icon. Maybe 10-15 seconds per Icon.
Google for IconFX 1.6.4 to find last version of IconFx that was freeware.
The window doesn't seem to refresh itself if you leave it open and the screensaver kicks in. After leaving things to download during the night coming back, things appeared to be locked up, but in reality, it was done and the window didn't redraw itself.

This appears to be related to what I mentioned here.

This bug is in both the current stable and beta releases.
I wanted to ask, where is the option to pause a certain download. The only option I see is remove from list and pause all which is a real nuisance. I remember v0.9 used to have such an option.
For example that means if I added download witcher 2 first, I can't listen to the music tracks until the 14GB are downloaded cause I added extra content after witcher 2 download.

There was no such option in either current or past versions - Downloader always downloads the file on top of your queue. However you should be able to reorder your queue via drag & drop.

Thanks a lot for the quick reply. I didn't know about drag and drop thing so thanks for the tip that solves my problem as it pauses the download

Yes there was, in the Adobe AIR versions. There were little ">/II" (Play/Pause) buttons next to each item in the list.
Question: what should I do to fix .NET Framework (Vista 32, .NET 3.5SP1 and 4)? I suspect that's the reason both the stable version of the downloader and the beta crash on me.
There seems to be a problem with my e-mail address.
My e-mail is formed like so: name.surname+gog@gmail.com

The site logs me in without a problem, but the downloaded keeps saying my e-mail/pass is incorrect.

The + character is a known problem in the gog downloader. It is supposed to be fixed in the next version. Try grabbing the 3.1 beta and see if it works for you.

jimbob0i0: Just installed the beta and using to download my three new games....

Thoughts:
1) My games are stored on a NAS. A UNC path to be able to save direct to it would be nice - worked around via a mapped network drive for now but that's technically a little clunky.

neolith: Same for me. It would be nice if I could directly save on my NAS again.
One more for network location support. I like to keep all my installation files on my server, not on individual PCs...

Repair if you can. See the links here for additional info:

I haven't run into .NET Framework issues on Vista or 7 yet, but on XP the standard fix is to remove them, reinstall them and if necessary run the .NET Framework Cleanup Tool mentioned in the links above.

I changed the default behaviour of my Windows Firewall to not allowing any application establishing a network connection except I allow it by defining a rule.

Therefore the GOG.com beta downloader (3.1.0) crashes on startup (the stable 3.0.25 does not). Please fix it :)

I know, the downloader is pointless without a network connection (and I created an exception for it) but this should be fixed too.
