codefenix: Lately, I much prefer content from PushingUpRoses and ProJared, both of whom make me laugh and present well thought out objective reviews without rambling on too long.
Thinking and comparing ProJared vs Spoony, I do see how Noah is a little whiny and nitpicks a little too much (although I still love all his D&D and gaming stories). ProJared is more outright showing the problems without making extra skits and sounds like real enthusiasm.

All video creators start to become not as funny as before, sooner or later. Even Spoony. His first FF VIII videos were the best, series' fans were in big rage, I heard about it. Too bad that after that his videos were not so funny as previos and now he does some very strange stuff and broadcasts only.

By the way, he "appeared" in this video game (2:40). English subtitles are available, were made by me personally (sorry for some grammar errors, English isn't my native language).

Every time he releases a new video I hope for a moment that maybe he's actually really back. And of course, then it's nothing again for months :D

Very, very rarely. He released a new Counter Monkey recently. As for a proper review, it's been something like 6 months.

Not exactly Spoony related, bu I thought it might be worth mentioning if any of his fans are still around- apparently one ProJared (also known as "that less snarky Spoony clone") is starting a Final Fantasy retrospective. It seems like a project very similiar to Spoony's great Ultima Retrospective, and of course Final Fantasy was the subject of Spoony's most famous work, so I thought it's something you guys might want to check out.

Yeah, but his reviews are much more timid not anywhere near the levels of snark of Spoony's stuff, especially his early Final Fantasy VIII and X reviews, where practically every sentence contained five new jabs at the game (and I loved that).

Yeah, that does not describe his work at all, especially not the FF VIII reviews that were pure snark and rarely ever raised voice. But ok, you think Spoony "shrieks" and is terrible. Duly noted. Can you now leave the thread clearly labeled "for Spoony Experiment fans"? I don't visit the "anime recomendations" thread just to periodically remind everyone I hate anime.
