The dude has mental problems up the ass though.

It all started ever since he reviewed Pacific Rim and Amazing Spiderman 2 he's been less and less social with his fans.

Because appearently there are people who liked Amazing Spiderman 2 and chastised him for it on the comments.

He's probably one of those people fun to watch but frustrating to hang around with.

Well, he was diagnosed with... I don't really remember, bipolar disorder? Something like that. So it's actuall health issues, not just being angry because the comments disagreed with him. I've no idea what happened later, and led to him releasing almost no videos now, so I'd rather not speculate. For a while it looked like he just shifted focus to let's plays, but those stopped coming to some time ago, so I've no idea if his health deteriorated, or if he just gave up on videos altogether.

Well, he hasn't stopped taking people's money on Patreon, so he's at least still pretending that he produces content.

I've long since considered Spoony a lost cause, anyone with open eyes can see he is hardly doing anything. Best to just enjoy his older content and move on. Only Spoony can save himself.

From what I see there's a lot of lets play videos recently... and little else. I haven't bothered to look at his main site in recent months as there's little there that doesn't show up on YouTube.

I checked his youtube page. The last let's play is from two and a half months ago.

I miss old school Spoony BEFORE the reliance on cameos, and just the Channel Awesome mantra in general. A lot of his older stuff was pretty damn hilarious and in some ways, a step above the other AVGN clones at the time. Sadly mental illness and general ego problems sucked Mr. Antwiler down a rabbit hole that will take a lot of effort to get out of.

If Spoony is smart he'll document his downfall as a youtube documentary ala Vice news. The only entertainment we can possibly get out of that guy now is to watch live streaming of him swallowing huge handfuls of crazy pills while smacking his girlfriend around and blaming it on the numerous voices in his head.

Or you could drool on yourself while reading his mountain of Twitter posts about how much Trump sucks. Fucking boring leftist cunts. This is what you call entertainment?

Actually Dan Brown had a <s>much worse</s> downfall, as his Dan 2.0 project of the internet telling him what to do completely failed. Dan Brown is actually how I learned to solve the Rubix Cube, before moving onto another more efficient hybrid method that's better for 4³ cubes.

As for what Spoony is ranting on, I wouldn't know, I don't use twitter, and never will. I mostly enjoy his D&D stories, and that's what I call entertaining. I'm a geek at heart, and well... I would play more if it were an option. Alas not right now.

edit: Actually reevaluating this, I don't know how they would do side by side. I only know it went really really bad for Dan Brown at the time.

I don't mean to be hard on the guy, but these internet personality types kinda have it coming. These guys try and build careers based on doing bad comedy skits and playing video games and expect everyone to fund their habits until retirement. How else can these narcissists go down in other way than bad?

Besides the fact that putting down 'live streaming Doom marathons on Twitch' on your resume doesn't do much for job interviewers. Once all the patreon money dries up, what do ya got? Send in the fecking clowns.
