Is there any place that has archived Spoony's written movie reviews by any chance? Most seem to be gone from his stie for some reason. I've been looking for Eragon, and it's gone, and I'm pretty sure most of the others are too. WHy the hell would those disappear anyway? Damn, the Experiment is falling apart.

Nearly a week late on this.

Anyways new video Exploding heads, he basically talks about 1st and 2nd edition Psionics and how confusing of a system it is (naming, it's use, the math to build/use it, etc).


I've never gotten to play psionics in 2nd edition, which isn't necessarily bad. At best I recall playing where a friend was the psionic and was offering to do psionic surgery to everyone (which would unlock abilities, but I didn't know this). Little else to say, that game is long since lost and dead.

To note the expanded 3.5 Psionics is much better, although class balance isn't too good for the soul knife, while in the Pathfinder version they fix that.

I like Spoony, but I dislike when Youtubers disable comments -_-'

To be fair, it's not like you tend to get much out of the comments on the bigger channels besides

Yep. Mostly on minor channels, but they can be found in other places too.
I usually like comments pointing to specific times of the videos, because they feel like "live feedback".
Or those that tell the title of the "ost", those that maybe explain something that happened, etc..
If someone hates comments, he can just ignore them.. no need to disable them for everyone.

Tons of trolls sometimes. When G+ was forced on it wasn't long before some were copying whole novels and just posting them as a comment...

Having a 1024char limited comment seems fine, or longer if the need calls for it, but it just enabled trolls far too much.

Personally I tend to disable comments on anything I post too, I'd happily go back if they fully removed the G+ mandatory nature as they said they would...

I really enjoyed Spoony's videos on FFVIII, FFX/X-2, and FFXIII. He does have a tendency to belabor many points though, is too heavy-handedly in his editorializing, and his scripted bits tend to go on a little too long. This, especially the latter, is what turned me off of Angry Joe as well.

Lately, I much prefer content from PushingUpRoses and ProJared, both of whom make me laugh and present well thought out objective reviews without rambling on too long.
