GOG.com: Hack & Slash Sale
Normally, I would say Hack 'n' Slash isn't my genre...but apparently I own 45 games, that carry that tag.
Color me surprised.

I like some hack n' slash games. I have 86. However I question that tag since I don't consider Darkest Dungeon hack n' slash.

I like your tagline. Mine would be Gamer since Combat on the Atari 2600.

I hope one day GOG can bring the actual Devil May Cry, Strider, and Guilty Gear here.

I hope too.
Does someone know what happened with the announced DLC for Katana Zero which is supposed to continue the story? I did not play it yet but I heard that the story is not concluded and that the devs announced a DLC which apparently hasn't arrived yet.

Games published by Fulqrum were cheaperduring the BF promo , so i will wait for another price drop during the winter sale .

Given how tags work on GOG, I would not be surprised to see Secret of Monkey Island tagged as a hack n' slash.

Grim Dawn -- the ARPG genre-peak title -- just 2 weeks ago had its largest patch ever, with MAJOR updates and changes (including technical and QOL, not just balance), and has an expansion coming expected Q3-Q4 next year.

If you like the genre at all, or generally like good realtime games, you should certainly have it in your library.

Addendum: There's another "cosmetic pack" expected for this winter, possibly by the holidays this year. Since people keep begging them to do more. (Literally, I've seen it.)

Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan is included in this list… This is a point&click hidden objects game.

By the way, despite not being a hack’n’slash game in any way, Darkest Dungeon is probably the best dungeon crawler I have played in the last ten years. I highly recommend it to lovers of well-done lovecraftian settings.

Did they ever fix the - IMO game-breaking - problem of the player having very limited stash space, and did they patch the game to allow the player to have unlimited stash space, which is how the game should have been in the first place (just like Victor Vran gives the player unlimited stash space, which proves that it can be done, and it's easy to do, and there is no reason not to do it)?

If not, then I'd say it's still not worth buying (I did buy it years ago though, only to become massively let down when I discovered the unbelievably terrible decision of the devs not to give the player enough stash space).

I don't know if it's been increased, I haven't played in a while. There are two recommended tools to help with stash space. GDStash and GD Item Assistant .

Ancient-Red-Dragon: unlimited stash space
It's been fixed by mods since many years ago. And the update did indeed do some space conservation (potions are no longer an item, which could consume a lot of inventory space before the update). But no, it's not unlimited and they're not going to make it so. It's easily worked around if you must. But you needn't.

But no, the game's not flawless. Literally no game is. But this is as minor a flaw as one can find. *ahem* the game has client and in-game achievements. :P

Too bad Capcom doesn't seem that keen on releasing more of their titles.

But I'm pretty sure we'll see Bayonetta at some point. :)

Edit: This Sale would have been the perfect opportunity to release Soulstice.
