So he was wrong. In my experience town is wrong a lot.

I voted Yogs and then Ettac for the rest of D3. I voted Lift D2.

gogtrial34987: That was D2, not D3. He switched to yogs and then catte beginning of D3, and never voted Lift again, even when I made the case that the wagon on Lift consisted of all-town plus Dessimu himself.

It's not the being wrong that's suspicious, it's that he feels he's owed town points for that one time he voted for Lift.

What conceivable reason would mafia have for *deliberately* making town tree stumps at night

Think about the most important aspect of this - if mafia kills a PR but they turn into a stump, they still get to reveal all their actions in the game

One of the biggest benefits to mafia for bing-bonging people at night is whatever information they had dies with them, and deliberately turning them into stumps completely loses that advantage

and I don't know why it's important, but I can confirm I had never heard of such a role before, regardless of what it might be called. "treeviver" lmao

I think that's the definition of WIFOM.
There are moments when, under sudden pressure, a jump from scum to another wagon is significant and can town-clear that other person. And then there are moments where it isn't sudden, but deliberate, and trying to reason about it is utterly useless. I see Lift's vote as being the latter.

Come on, this is weak sauce and you know it. If Dessimu was adamant on voting for Lift from D1 like he was about Carradice this argument would have held weight but in this case it simply doesn't.

I've had lift in my scumpile all day, I've voted lift previously - if I'm scum that's engineered distancing. There's little hope of redirecting lift's wagon so I scrapped the distancing work we'd been doing for no reason.
That's something I noticed that I didn't like when I was ISOing your posts. You seemed to suspect Lift for so long and as soon as someone (Gogtrial's "gotcha") provided an acceptable reason to not do it you promptly jumped on Micro. Not a great look.

To be honest I don't know what to do. I would really like to go through with the claims in that order but I'm starting to get the feeling Yog won't make an appearance in time to do his part. I hope that would be NAI!Yog being held by IRL and not scum!Yog breaking the process intentionally because that would be bullshit play I put underneath him but who knows. I don't have a ready answer at this moment and am considering options. All of you are very welcome to share your own thoughts on the matter.

I realize nobody is obligated to really know or remember this, but you can usually count on yog not turning on a computer until exactly 8 AM Pacific Time, when yog is supposed to be working
