Two reasons, actually.

1) A game with myself in seeing how long until someone finally calls me on it. I suspected the hint to Red might be a breaking point, but I figured Trent or Lift would be the one to do it.

2) Last game, I noticed a disturbing tendency for things to get to L-1 and stall, but I'd be unable to do anything about it because I was already on the wagon. I thought I might try something new this game (as per my advice to GR about trying things).

So, this is probably the time to warn people that maybe L-2 is the new L-1.

I mean, they're both the same question. You still have yet to give a reason why you just shut the day off early.

That's a lot to catch up on. I'm feeling a bit detached from a lot of things nowadays, even this game. Hopefully it's probably just a phase that will pass.

You either don't understand what I'm asking, or you don't want to understand or you just don't care. Yes, I got that you liked them better. But you didn't explain why. Unless there is no reason beyond your fancy. And that would be very weak play. The roles chosen have a big influence on the game balance and therefore town should invest some thought into what the strongest combination is with the information we had. Apparently you didn't and selected your roles purely on 'I like them'. If you really have no better reason, then your 'hammering' on such a flimsy liking was really an anti-town move.

Fine. Be that way. I know that I always see you as scummy and I know that, when you are town, you only shine in late game, where you start making sense. However, I think this time your intentional flubbiness might hide actual scumminess. Also this is a small and therefore short game. We don't have the luxury of waiting until late game. If you are town, please start being useful and explain more. Until then:

I like Cop because it's useful. I like Doctor because it's useful. I switched from Rolelbocker because the discussion in this Game and the admin thread showed it to be less useful; possibly even damaging.

Now the reason why I chose to Vote for Roleblocker is the real question. I wasn't as attracted to the role as I was interested in the response to my Voting for it would stimulate. Who would choose it as well?? Who would think it was the "best" choice for town?? In my opinion this could help me suss out town and scum. It didn't produce what I'd hoped, so meh...

If they are both the same question, why did you direct your reply specifically at trentonlf and refer to me in third person?? To be clear, I'm not offended at all. You did technically avoid answering my question.

Also, I didn't "shut the day off early" I simply voted my choice. Which is the same as all other players could have done.


Why was my first post of the game a Vote for a role choice?? Because (as I stated earlier) I thought about it and came to the game prepared to scum hunt.

I would still vote for ZFR or Pooka if necessary. Both of them have some raised eybrows stuff. But I somehow have the feeling that they might be town-on-town suspicion.

Why?

I was looking back at past posts, and realized something interesting. Trent's argument for scum!ZFR is that ZFR proposed Follow the Cop, therefore he must have known there was a Strongman, therefore he must be mafia.
Yet ZFR voted for cop and watcher on D0. If he knew there was a strongman, why not vote doctor? Add to this Trent's posts throwing suspicion against Pooka, and I think he's scum trying to direct suspicion onto the scumhunters.
