Punished_Snake: Apparently, this is a scam:

http://www.steamgifts.com/forum/EARHR/sleeping-dogs-scam
If you actually read the thread then you will see it's most likely not scam.

This post proabbly sums it up:

"They RANDOMLY send the extra information request to people.. it's not about paypal account being verified or not, it's not about which country you're from, it's not about paying with Credit Card.. it's random. It's crappy nonetheless but it's not a scam, it's just really bad customer service considering they request the extra information only once they already received the payment."

They also ask only few people this, most have no problem. It's not something I condone but I doubt they are trying to scam people.

ErekoseDM: these amazon deals just went live (probably us only deals; not trying to restart the prior comments just point out (probably re-point out) some 'deals' pending if you have any of it already / on other systems).
ripped from CAG, naturally.
Amazon really needs to start listing DRM.

Not for all games though. Far Cry 3, for example, doesn't list Uplay DRM. The Steam one says it requires Steam, but the non-steam one does not mention Uplay at all.

mharris: Doesn't bother me per se. I've got a current generation overkill PC and enjoy current gen games like Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinite et al. but I also like retro games from the GOG back catalogue going back to the early 90s or even older. I've got King's Quest 1 installed currently even. ;oP

merow: For me it depends: retro is cool, but cheap, unpolished and clunky doesnt thrill me. The old Sierra games are good, they were good at chreating charming atmospheres, so that it doesnt need good graphics to get you into it. Just my opinion!
True true. Yeah, gameplay is really where it's at even if graphics etc. are archaic. Look at the original Zork games for example. :)

Psyringe: GamersGate Daily Deal:

Titan Quest Gold is 75% off ( €2.49, dollar price is usually more expensive)

Most people will already have this game by now. But if you got the base game from the THQ Humble Bundle, liked it, and would like a Steam-free version which includes the expansion, here's your chance. :)
Got this and having some graphic/resolution issues that I can't find a solution to dispite intensive searching. If anyone thinks they may be able to help please let me know and I'll be specific.

I did'nt think this warranted a new thread so apologies for going off topic.

Even better, Amazon doesn't list their own DRM. Some games can only be installed through the Amazon downloader, which must call home to activate. The Amazon Downloader doesn't work with Wine, naturally.
