Anyone got list of games <$5 on the Amazon sale (i know about the EC sale & also the CAG list ) which might have gone under the radar (or hidden gems) ?. Was wondering if there was anything worth picking up on that end (Steam keyed preferred) ?
I'm going to wait for the glitch-free special during the summer or maybe even next winter sale with:

Sleeping Dogs Complete Pack (includes ALL DLC) for $7.49

Funny thing is, now that i have a similar opportunity with Saints Row 3 I don't know if all that DLC is worth buying the game for what would be the 3rd time. I bought it cheap on sale at some point. I forget when. Then I bought the THQ bundle that included it during this winter sale and if I buy the pack to get the DLC I will have bought this silly game 3 times basically. lol

When will I learn to just wait? Maybe Sleeping Dogs will be my chance to benefit from experience. Maybe...

The DLC is hilarious and adds quite a bit of content, and is probably worth the $7.49, but only if you actually intend to play the game again afterwards. If you don't have any interest in going back to the game, then it's pretty much worthless, yeah.

I actually didn't buy Sleeping Dogs yet for just that reason, I'm engaged in other games just now and I would have to pay all over again to get the DLC, games that I go too long w/o buying I'll always wait for a complete pack sale. It just makes sense.

The DLC for Sleeping Dogs is truly worthless and superfluous. I would not let it influence your buying decision in the least.

That's good to know but I have more than enough to play for a long time so I'll just wait for the game to be cheaper anyway.

As with mostly all DLC it just adds flavour and is totally optional, I'll give you that.
But North Point, Zodiac and Martial Arts are really worthwhile if you like beating up thugs and Ghosts.
And yes, the base game can hold up by itself and no DLC is needed to enjoy the game. And any other DLC than the above is really only worthwhile buying for $1 or so.
But "truly worthless", def. not.

I don't know why but this game strikes a string in my game needs that has not been strung for quite some time. I guess my John Woo, Tsui Hark, Bruce Lee etc. Eastern youth is coming back ;D

Wow "only" 15$ for OST 1, 2 & 3. That 'Build a Greenlight Bundle' deal from Groupees was much better.
Today on GlitchGate:
Just Cause 2 Complete Edition, $7.50, -75%, Steam
Includes all or most DLC and Guide, seems like a nice price.

Ship Simulator Extremes Collection $3.75, -87%, DRM Free?!

If you are into Ship Simulation this is your chance.

Thanks for that. Not sure the JC2 is a good deal.

Getgamesgo (one of the few games i bought from them a while back)has the base game for $3.74. Most of the DLC is just cosmetic or weapons etc...

Awwww no glitches? ;)

How much was it during the sales?
That IS the sale price, the Elder Scrolls Franchise is a recap deal. Oblivion is also 75% off, and Skyrim is 50% off

schmea: If I remember right, it seem like it might be a misconception on Basilisk's part on how GOG adds games to their service. The developer has stated on his forums that he'd like to sell on GOG, but they haven't approached him yet, while GOG says developers should approach them on other threads in this forums.

I hope they get is settled, Eschalon is MADE for GOG. Regardless, you should all buy it now, since they're amazing games and that's an amazing price.
Did anyone enlighten the developer and ask him to contact GOG? The games certainly look like they'd fit right in over here!
