StingingVelvet: Debating Inversion. Would be my seriously final purchase. Seeing if that Harley DLC works on all copies too.

The January thing is kind of pointless since the $5 doesn't stack.

racerboi101: If you don't own much of the games in the current Editor's Choice List, just think of how much you could get the games if it goes back on sale and what more if they put it even cheaper.

Dark Souls PTD - $9.99
The Walking Dead - $7.49
Max Payne 3 - $9.99
Saints Row 3 - $4.99
X-COM - $19.99 or possibly more less
Hotline Miami - potentially free if it goes for 50% off sale
Vessel - $2.49 or potentially free if it goes for 75% off sale

I won't discount the $5 credit out yet, they would be adding more games to the list.
The 5 dollar credit thing was awesome last year, they put up tons of great deals throughout January and the last weekend had deals like this weekend, just in case you hadn't found anything yet.

You'll find something to buy with your credits. The codes were transferable last year, I handed out several. If you find nothing, hand them out to those who do:)
I just found Condemned on Amazon for $7.49
anyone knows what DRM is uses, I have already the GG Version.

Think it is Securom.

Snickersnack: $7.50 Rayman Origins - PC direct download from the Ubisoft store

http://shop.ubi.com/store/ubina/en_US/pd/ThemeID.8605600/productID.245230300

I have no experience with the Ubi store but the price does seem good.

Tallima: Remember that the price is for 1 download only. To buy the game for unlimited downloads and installs, it's something like $7 or so more.
Thanks for the warning, that's pretty awful. :(

what kind of bullshit is one download allowed....wtf
Is the rest of the Civ V DLC worth it? I know the answer before has been "No", but it hasn't been 24 cents apiece before either.
Question for those who've played "The Binding of Isaac" (currently on sale on Steam for $1.24) - I know very little about this game, and I'm wondering if it's strictly puerile gross-out humour, or if it manages to have a little more mood and heft to it. (In other words, is there anything to see here beyond just "OMG this would SO offend grandma"?)

Edit: Wow, don't know WHAT happened to my keyboard to cause that little mis-paste.

It is filled with juvenile grossout humor, and shit that would be seriously disturbing in a less cartoony graphic style. It IS by a person that has been doing shock-grossout humor for mor than a decade (Edmund McMillen). If you can't stand that, Isaac is not for you.
It is also the best worst made game on steam. It is shoddily made, in an outdated version of Flash, it is extremely unoptimized... And yet it is amazingly addictive, fun, and makes a decent use of the themes it has.
Gameplaywise, it is kind of what would happen if one mixed Robotron, Zelda and a roguelike. Levels are randomly generated with rooms being based on a set of templates, with randomized contents. WASD controls Isaac's movement, while the arrow keys control the direction of your only weapon: Your tears.
In the game you will get items that will have different effects on Isaac and his tears. It can get pretty gruesome.

I wholeheartedly recommend it, but I know it is not for everyone. But for a buck and a half, it is a no brainer. Hell, go for the two bucks and a half one, it includes the expansion pack, which adds a LOT to the game.
Thanks for the info. I think I'll pass, though; gross-out humour doesn't bother me, it just... kind of bores me.

The civilizations are worth it in case you either intend to play the game in multiplayer and/or just want to play the civilizations.
The maps, well, they are nice and all, but not really worth it, unless you want to play in that region specifically.
The Wonders of the Ancient Worlds adds 3 new wonders to build, and a new scenario. The wonders feel appropriate for the game. I've not played the scenario, so I can't comment on it. Note that you can buy it together with the Korea civilization for a decent saving.

Yes, there is actually a good amount of social commentary to be found in that game. Still a lot of "gross out moments" though (though I'm not sure if I would really call it "humor")

And you need to map the keys to joypad with a helper program - key2joy or something. I never came to grips with the keyboard controls, they are just awkward to me.
But if you go the distance this is a great random generated and rogue-style Gauntlet arcade shooter, with a very sad and disturbing humor story. Nothing more but nothing less also.

Nope, nope. No "1 time download only". Yes, Digital River is pain in the ass but you have 30 days to download, 10 attempts and from 10 different IP addresses. And yes, I bought a few games from them (some time ago).

Of course, if you add the game to UPlay, you can ddownload it anywhere and anytime (only 18 games has, atm, UPlay support).
