How does it work?

Bout GetGames:
Still thinking bout Alpha Protocol... Why is it rated so low while the most people say its unpolished but amazing...(?)

At the end of the day, it's pretty good, despite its shortcomings. Reactivity to your choices is excellent, and the secret agent scenario is a breath of fresh air. Also, next to no melodrama in the plot. As far as content goes, AP is pretty damn good.

AP's weaknesses are its technical problems (engine "hickups", or enemies failling to spawn or interactive objects failing to respond when reloading a checkpoint....that can be corrected by loading the same checkpoint again, though) and its somewhat unbalanced gameplay.

dyscode: Guys, check out the new Indiegamestand title Pixelry:
Yes, It's what the name insinuates: Medieval life of Pixel Knights! :)

Bought!

But that game has been in Alpha for like a year and a half now.

p_mamusz: It recently got kinda F2P with unlimited play as base classes(pre defined armour, perk, and weapon selections) in "demo mode", but with no levelling and customisation that is the bread and butter of the game in theory.(with "flavour of the week" overpowered builds :D) Also you can buy in game gold now with real money, witch you can spend on unlocking stuff.
Good game but has become another Tribes Ascend - You have to find enjoyment playing a supporting role if you don't have the $ to buy your way into leadership.

Although once you've earned yourself into a more dominant role - Your prowess and integrity will hold much more weight.

Well this sale, and the oncoming Kickstarter funding is hope that the game is getting some traction, now.
