This game is reputed to be rather racist, sexist, and jingoistic, beyond being simply a terrible game. I might suggest that such a game should not be rewarded under any circumstances, no matter how cheap, if you have a problem with these kinds of things.

I actually came across the game only with the release trailer featureing Devil's Tatoo from Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, which impressed me. And reports of bad gameplay ceased my interest.

Wasn't Call of Juarez actually banned in one Mexican City/ District, because the actual life situation was... well, like in that game - drug gang shoot outs and all that...

Call of Juarez: The Cartel wasn't awfully bad. It's rather fun in co-op. A bit buggy though. Definitely didn't think I wasted my money. But first 2 games of CoJ were a lot better, that's a fact.
