No, the talking was already done. I got hard time from bler for wanting to leave and let everyone else figure things out by themselves because I didn't want to put Lift at L-1 and create the bridge for tipping him over because we had some more usable hours to talk. Talks aren't limited towards the lynch but other stuff people might want to discuss as well. Speaking of how quick it was - exactly 9 minutes after HSL put Lift at L-1. Pretty quick if you ask me.

For me quick-hammering means one doesn't align with others before making the executive decision to cease any and all discussion on their own especially[ when they wanted to push another wagon before.

To limit the potential for lying about it or going for a more convenient read a bit and increase the chance for confirming his claim by watcher/tracker.

You know, what I find interesting? How Leonard is not hammered yet. I mean, all it takes - 5 votes. And Leo is on L-1 for how many hours now? Mafia is two lynched-townies away from winning. At this point it would even be tactical to hammer Leo and be done with it. If Leo is Town, that is. But for now it seems like we are dragging this lynch.

Quite honestly, I'm just hanging around for a few hours to see if flubbucket will do as dedo wishes and list a night target (I don't think he will).

Besides that, maybe I was a bit quick to go for Lifth like I did. We could still have got some talking done.

The decision(s) of watcher or tracker are obvious. A tracker would track me and see where I went. A watcher would watch me to see who attempted to kill me.

Now let's role reverse for a moment....what would you do if I told you to tell me your potential Night Action??

The tracker is obvious, yes. The watcher however isn't. If you die tonight you are confirmed anyway which automatically confirms other people as well. There is enough suspicion for you to survive the night, though, in which case a watch on your end would be wasted. I see watching your target as a lot better play since it will cover more potential outcomes. If the watched person is Town they are likely to die. A watcher would know that you visited them for real and the name of the killer. If you are scum you can say you'll visit X, X dies and you say - "Yep, X was Town" in the morning. A tracker will confirm this. But a watcher may say you were the only person who visited X - you killed one more townie, got a tracker confirmation in the process and provided a real read that doesn't have that much impact on any side.

Sorry, I didn't understand it that way. I don't have enough time to think it through but I believe I'd do it (or at least consider it) because I do think it's a good play for Town. I would also like a consensus but I'm not thrilled by the level of interest and involvement of the majority of the faculty members right now, less than 3 hours before the deadline.

So you're clear on my comment of going along as long as there is a consensus, but listening to a single unconfirmed player would be unwise.

Like I said, I can't make you do anything. And the door opens both ways. You are as unconfirmed to me as I am to you. If you don't think it's a good play - by all means reject it. But if you do agree that it makes sense yet you refuse just because I'm unconfirmed is different thing.
