yogsloth: We've hit the point in Day 1 of this game where I'm getting ready to see how many jellybeans I can stick up my nose, just to keep myself entertained.

Krypsyn: Three for me. Then I sneezed. It was messy. Not trying it again. Good luck! :)

HypersomniacLive: Really? What happened to this? Not good enough to place your vote? Or are you still in RVS?
Not quite yet. I'm mildly concerned about him, but not really any more than I am about say trent, or JMich or Lift.
I'm still waiting for some more info to go on.

adaliabooks: As for Krypsyn's argument, if a wagon grows on a player whom I'm voting that I don't agree with I'll move my vote, simple as that.
avatar
dedoporno: Then what's the point of having a vote at all? If you vote for a person you need to vote for - good. But what is the point of random voting if you are going to back off if a wagon starts to form?
I only said I would move my vote if I didn't agree with the wagon. If for example CSPVG does something that makes me consider him more townie then I will move my vote. If a wagon suddenly builds on him because, I don't know, he refers to 'Town' instead of us or we then I will remove my vote because that's a stupid reason to lynch anyone. But if he decides to claim nexus or PGO or suggests scum might chat during the day then I'll leave it where it is.

If someone else presents as scummier I will move my vote accordingly, I don't really see what's so complicated about it...

yogsloth: My theory is that it's a Quixotic quest to prove some sort of political point about Day 1 lynching. He got hosed on it last game so he's determined to keep bashing away at that same path until we all throw our hands in the air and mea culpa and announce we all realize he was right all along.

Nothing complicated in changing votes when a better option arises. What I don't understand is why you have a vote on a person who's wagon you don't agree with in the first place.

adaliabooks: a tracker would catch him if he made the kill instead of investigating.
A tracker cannot confirm the nature of a visit. It can be coincidental that a cop investigates a NK target.

Who says I don't agree with it? As I said, anyone is fair game at the moment, pretty much everyone is just as scummy or townie as anyone else.
I just wasn't best pleased my random vote ended up on yog's preferred target...

Sorry, I did mean if he visited a target different to the one he claimed, obviously he can just claim to visit the dead person, but you can only do that so many times before people get suspicious that the cop always investigates the person who ends up dead.

What if he doesn't play at all?

He has five total posts in the entire game:

1) RVS vote
2) typo correction to RVS vote
3) one-sentence question
4) "sorry I haven't been playing" excuse
5) Actual content (~24 hours ago)

SLAUGHTER. THE. USELESS.

BlueMooner: Forest for the trees, dear boy. Your scrutiny of his capitalizations has apparently made you miss a larger flaw. He didn't mention Hijack at all.
He probably had enough of me last game, but I doubt I was the only one not mentioned. I'd be sad if that was the case. Like for real? I noticed my name was missing, but I did not notice the rest of 14 players besides me and him were named there.
Well, the laptop is a write-off, so I'll be posting from the phone for a while.
I know you'll all miss my quote-filled weeks of text ;)

Although maybe it's a good thing if I stay away for a bit. I'm not sure if I want to see where yogsloth goes with this "jellybeans up his nose" thing.

I agree that CSPVG has been quiet, but he is normally a lurker. So I won't vote for him until more pressing circumstances.

Some would say he is a "Power Lurker". (totally stolen from flubbucket)

Other then RL, why hide in the shadows? or add just enough to be seen as here and present. This is not just about CSPVG but others who fall into that category as well. I know day one is not much to go on but I still see the ones that are holding back to be looked at a bit as to why so quiet?

A face mask is recommended as well. ;)

...............
I have posted from my phone before. To vote I hit the "bold" button first and then typed the name (or whatever) in between the bold tags.

It should work maybe??
