That must be the shortest scum thread I've ever seen.

HijacK: That must be the shortest scum thread I've ever seen.
At best it was second shortest. They beat our scum thread by 3 posts, and we had more than twice the number of nights they had.

We did? Huh... Well, I'm just going to say we're efficient.
4 nights to their 2. Or maybe it was 4 days, so 3 nights.

*shrug* I like efficiency!

yogsloth: I think I'm actually going to skip the post on my plan - probably nobody really cares at this point, and it's not like I had any great secrets to reveal anyway.

Time to take a rest and get ready for whatever the next one may bring!
Booohooo! You hype us and now you leave us to wonder. Come on! Bring it!
So they were trying nk me on night one as I imagined and I thought they'd try again on night two (that's why I claimed on day 2, because I thought it was crystal clear who I was, after hijacks claim, anyway and I wanted to help town before going out).
So how tight was my softclaim really who knew in the beginning of day two that I was the unrestrictor? could I really have just stayed low even after hijack's claim?

EDIT (hehe): I mean that was my plan from the beginning to stay low and unrestrict as many people as I could during the game, so I wanted to make myself as unattractive for lynching and nightkilling as possible..

also: @sage, why the hell did you want to kill me? Oo what have I done? ;)
also: @yogs, thanks for the sticker. I will try to be around next game also :D

Nah, I had no clue. Might have worked it out eventually if I'd paid more attention, but I doubt it.

You played a good game though so I hope you'll be back again in the future :)

thanks :) for the record I also never really believed you were scum. Gotta remember having half the scum team pushing for your lynch on day 1, doesn't mean you aren't scum yourself :)

Yeah, that was about the only thing we got right I thought... did a pretty good job of voting for each other and possibly creating some distance. But I blew it by not bussing CSPVG and Krypsyn...

Well... you know... somebody did try to give you some helpful advice in that regard...

Damned if I was going to do what you wanted :P
Way too late to the party, but... I'll post my 2c anyway.

I enjoyed the game very much. I liked the setup, the mechanics, and the twists, and am kind of sad it ended this quick, and in the way it did.

So, thanks a bunch to RWarehall, the players and the audience!
Also thanks to our mod for the insight info, it was fun reading it, and also cleared up a few things.
And cheers for the good words on my game, I tried my best.

First thought I had when I read my role PM was "I'm so screwed". The implications of that name... good luck convincing anyone I was town, hahaha.

I was suspicious of adaliabooks, but would have never guessed he'd have such a role. It would have been interesting and fun if he were granted his steal, provided it would have been of the x-shot variety. The way the game ended was a bit unsatisfactory, even if it was a town victory. At least adaliabooks was happy for a while.

The newcomers did a pretty good job, especially with the roles they were given. Shame BlueMooner could not keep up after what happened to him, hope things look up for him soon, and he'll return for another game.

I'm going to disagree with HijacK, and say that trentonlf played his role well, and if he hadn't waited so long to come clean, we might not have lynched him.

yogsloth and agentcarr16 did a great job unlocking the game and for swinging it in town's favour at "hello" - with the roles scum had, and two third-parties in the game, I don't think town stood a good chance if scum had time to catch up on what was going on.

I was quite surprised that scum went after agentcarr16 on N1 thinking he was the Guru, I thought it was pretty obvious he was the Doctor.

And I'm still perplexed as to what game flubbucket was playing - if he reads this and can spare a moment, I'd really like to hear what his plan was.

Cheers, and see you around.

HypersomniacLive: W.
I had contemplated coming clean earlier on Day 3, I had the feeling my time was short. When JMich changed his vote to me and the momentum shifted my way I started my post, but got it in too late. Looking back I should have let flub get lynched and kept on stealing at night, but once I tried to look town by saving him I put myself in a position to be a threat to scum and look off to town. Hindsight is 20/20 they say ;)

adaliabooks: Plus, I could only steal what people claim, so if the vig claimed their restricted role that would be what I would steal, and I would need to hope the Guru would unrestrict me...

Anyway, I wasn't suggesting all the roles should be revealed. Just the nature of the game (restricted roles etc.)
I was thinking more about this, and I realized that if all of the roles were known in advance then town could proxy mass claim Day 1 for an easy victory. For example, if I were the infinite vig, I'd claim Zero Shot Vigilante. Boom, everyone knows who I am but the Imitator doesn't have a useful role to copy. Scum are locked into duplicating claims, so anything that isn't duped is auto-town.

I'm terrible at picking scum, apparently, but I was nearly positive you were neutral as soon as you claimed, and was surprised other people weren't seeing that. That explanation fit your role and your play to that point nearly perfectly.

So I thought it was quite a nice claim at that - townie enough for anyone who didn't catch that you were neutral, and seemingly not that threatening to scum compared to other roles on the table to be an NK target given how ambiguous your N1 results were.

I think Cristi's odds of winning would have been that much better if I'd played. ;) Otherwise there's too much 'No no lynch!' fanaticism in this bunch.

And perhaps if she'd claimed and perhaps recruited you - a slower game would have suited your role as well.
