agentcarr16: @Trentonlf - what would you say is your current reason for your vote on yogsloth?
For the same reason I placed it to begin with. Whatever play he is attempting I feel it's a scummy play as I think it benefits scum more than town. Of everything that has occurred today I find this is the scummiest so my vote is on him.

yogsloth: So again, I am compelled to apologize. What to me seemed like a humorous and obviously not-serious-commentary category heading turns out to be horrifyingly offensive. I never seem to get the trick of this kind of thing.
Here Yog, I got you a little something. You may find it very useful for your travels on the interwebz.
avatar
yogsloth: bla... because that is what Scum always want.
Sorry, Yogs, but this is bullshit! You know what else scum always want? Distraction. And killing useful power roles. And you have delivered quite the distraction and IF you really are Town Cop, you have delivered them one of the most useful power roles on a silver platter. If your claim is true and scum have the possibility to roleblock, they can now block the hell out of you and keep you around for the distraction value that you offer them. As a scum, I wouldn't be too keen on lynching you. I would sit back and watch town infight against their strongest role. This martyr play has proven to be bad before. Drawing attention and possibly a lynch is good if you are vanilla AND manage to draw attention AWAY from a power role by sacrificing yourself. But a Cop doing a martyr play is the worst idea I can think of.

So, we have exactly two possibilities:
Either you are Town Cop and have just chosen the most idiodic way to start the game
Or you are lying.

I refuse to believe that you are stupid. That rules out the option that you really are Town Cop. I rather suspect that you are scum trying for a risky but potentially rewarding scum gamble. You also coupled it nicely with a disclaimer: "Hey, whoever votes for me must be scum."
You know what? That is wrong. Whoever votes for you might also just not buy your claim and try to eradicate scum.

I agree on one point though: I am with you on lynching lurkers ... IF there is no better target. But at the moment you are way scummier than any lurker. Therefore

vote Yogsloth

Follower ups on my scummy list are, at the moment, agentcarr: No-vote? Really? On Day 1? ... that is also a tremendously bad idea for town. For then Day 2 will be as difficult as Day 1, only with one townie less. And cristi (lurking but calling out a lurker herself ... that's a pot calling the kettle black).

"Yeah, adalia and I talked it over in the scum chat on N0 and decided that we would have this totally contrived little discussion where I brought up the Finger of Suspicion because he wasn't acting normally, and then he would reply with a little emoticon and some stuff about me not knowing him."

Poor woman. I'm not surprised at the "unfriendly" participants of earlier episodes.

OK, down to business.

Thank you, trentonlf.

@ Everyone - for those of you currently with votes (excluding trentonlf), please give a reasoning for your vote. And if anyone is still holding an RVS vote, could (s)he please remove it?

agentcarr16: @ Everyone - for those of you currently with votes (excluding trentonlf), please give a reasoning for your vote.
My reasons for my vote on adaliabooks hasn't changed; I don't like votes where the stated reason is that it is purely random. Apparently he did this last game as well, and this is some sort of continuation? Well, I didn't realize this, but I would have voted for him then as well.

It is not a firm vote, but he is still the scummiest of my reads thus far.

adaliabooks: [...]

BlueMooner - A lot of little things, but not a lot that couldn't be put down to him (?) being new, and a few less minor infractions (attempting to make people look at trent in a bad light, OMGUS vote on HijacK). But being new I'm willing to give him leeway day 1.

[...]
Are you content with Hijack"s arguments for his vote on BlueMooner?

Slaughter the Useless:
CSPVG
Sage

Why don't you vote someone you find scum, even if only leaning? You yourself said that on D1 one can't ever be 100% certain, so leaning should suffice for you. A lurker is someone you actually have no idea/ feel what list to put them in, so there's a chance that you may be advocating for the lynch of a town player, perhaps even a town power role

I'd also like to hear CSPVG's answer to dedoporno's question (post #444) - that (emphasis added) "I too will Unvote: yogsloth" sounded like returning the favour yogsloth did him by unvoting him. Who has still not explained why he unvoted CSPVG, in spite me indirectly asking, flubbucket prodding him right after, and him being online at the time.

How will yogsloth's reported night action tell you in a definite way if you're reading him correctly or not? I can understand it if he gets NK-ed, and we get his flip, but his reported night action?

No wonder[/url].

On a bit more game-related note, could you please list those not voting in alphabetical order? And could you explain in what order you're listing those with the same amount of votes on them?

Those not voting are listed in the order of their last vote. Thus, those at the front of the list have not voted for the longest.

As to the vote list, essentially same thing. The highest 1 vote (excepting No-Lynch which moved up because it was closer to final), is the earliest 1 vote.

In essence, the next new vote, goes to the bottom of the list. If someone gets a second vote, they go to the bottom of the 2's, etc. If a 2's vote is removed, they go to the top of the 1's. There is a system.

That's a secret :)

It all depends on what it is that I think I understand about yogsloth's claim.
My vote for yogsloth is based on the early claim of town cop. However WIFOMy it seems, it isn't town. Whatever his alignment reveals to be, it isn't town behavior.

Opening the game (so to speak) with this claim will not serve town well because it is distracting and unverifiable at this juncture. The only difference would come if we all knew the setup going into the game. If we knew there was a cop, doc, and roleblocker and the rest vanilla.

To go along with the claim would be tantamount to labeling yogsloth obvitown, and that's foolish.
Time to leave a vote before the deadline.

Vote Adaliabooks

Adalia is one of those that went after yog, though not only did he change his mind, but he did vote for someone else. The one his original suspect was voting for, and chosen by random.org as well.

I do believe that at least one scum is in the yog pushing wagon, and adalia does seem as good a place as any to start.
