I see it similarly. Client based achievements are basically online badges to show each other. So they are more or less multiplayer content. Since bragging to yourself is kind of boring.
Sure, there are offline achievements too and they shouldn't require Galaxy. Especially if some single player game progress or feature is tied to an achievement, that achievement has to be achievable offline, otherwise it becomes DRM.
But it wouldn't be the achievement itself that is the DRM, but the restriction to Galaxy or other client

Lifthrasil: Absolver - Boss re-matches are locked behind an online requirement. Boss loot too. As well as some techniques that can be used in offline play but can only be learned online. Absolver also installs the invasive EAC anti-cheat software even for single player and won't start without it.
Thank you for the warning.

Any news about Kerbal?

I only found someone asking about it, but no replies:

I received no report yet about a new (mandatory, drmed) launcher. If someone knows details, please share them here.
I've recently installed Kerbal for the first time and just launched it and played it today. I had no problems launching the game offline and without Galaxy running. No launcher came up at any point. There is a Launcher.exe in the game's directory but the launch shortcut links directly to the game's executable instead.

Lifthrasil: Hmm. That is a strict separation of multiplayer and single-player. But I don't know whether I can count that as DRM. Since it isn't an advantage that registered players have in single-player. It would be DRM, if Galaxy-users could do or get something in single player that non-Galaxy-users can't do or get. Do you know, whether you can use these trikot colors in single player, if you use Galaxy?

Korotan: If you mean the offline mode? Nope. In Offline the Store is unavailable and you are stuck being a guest.
In online only with hard work cause the Premium currency can only be bought if you launch the game via Steam.
So in offline mode you can't customize your teams via Trikot color? But in online mode that works? I would then say this is a case of cosmetic DRM and would put it as such on the list.

The online premium currency not being available in the GOG version, however, would rather be a case for the Second Class Citizen thread.

Agreed?

I've checked it by launching the 1.12.4.03187 version (if thats the correct version in question) of KSP via Galaxy, there was no launcher at all.

Great. Thanks!
Folks, would you kindly check GOG's Dishonored - Definitive Edition? The latest "334700 2022" shady update by Bethesda is Hell weird, did nothing except add spyware DRMy stuff that (according to some reports) crashes the game after a few minutes, rendering it unplayable (especially offline). The Steam page's EULA is now oddly like this:
"The Game is a Service offered by ZeniMax and is only playable online. A persistent Internet connection (which is not supplied by ZeniMax) is required to play the Game."

This smells of Hitman GOTY kind of crazy nonsense to me, not good. The fact GOG allows that to happen is double not good.

I've checked it offline with Galaxy and offline without Galaxy. Both ways work without any flaws. Haven't checked the network traffic tho, so I cannot say if something works in the background if you play with an active internet connection.

Was it around a ~10 minute playing session? Good to know if not broken, thanks.
Any updates to the Dishonored situation?
