We used this year’s spring cleaning to dust off some of the great DOS classics.

Thanks to the partnership and long-time cooperation with the DOSBox Crew, together we’ve managed to enhance with cloud saves feature over 100 classics, with more to come.

Since the introduction of the Universal Cloud Saves to GOG Galaxy, the feature has been added to more and more all-time classics that never offered save syncing and cloud backups. Working closely with DOSBox Crew and adding cloud saves to older games is another step that we take to improve gamers experience with good old games.

Many of these cloud saves enabled DOS classics joined the Spring Sale line up offering savings for such must-haves like Colonization (-75%), Dungeon Keeper Gold (-75%), Heroes of Might and Magic (-75%), Alone in the Dark: The Trilogy 1+2+3 (-75%), Wing Commander III (-75%), classic X-COMs (-75%), and many more.

Good news for those who want to use the client and cloud saves.
Good job GOG.

Just keep the client away from those of us who don't want to use it.

victorchopin: But... but how?!??
HOW?

Qbix: Lots of coding and testing. ;)
Thanks to you and the GOG team, this is an impressive milestone!
Very cool! A good way to add extra value. I hope you'll get cloud saves working on Diablo at some point.

Reynard_Muldrake: Is there a complete list of what's been added? It would be nice to know which games in my library still need to be synced.
Yeah a list of the games that have been updated would be very nice indeed.
I don't use clouds but it's nice that you added this for people that do.
Does this also work for Mac?
I don't like cloud saves but i'm happy for the people who do enjoy this feature. I personally disabled them the moment galaxy finished installing.

Well done Gog. I gotta admit I didn't expect this.

I don't currently use Galaxy but I'm probably the perfect customer for this feature. I have two computers a hundred km apart that I play my games in. I tend to install different games in each because managing saves is a pain. Now I have to consider whether I want to accept the downsides of Galaxy for the upsides and for the first time I'm actually not sure what I will choose.

On a side note, this is how you can win over customers of other stores that rely on clients: by offering a better service than them. And by making these features not intrusive and always optional you can win over some of your Galaxy critics who are long-time customers.

Qbix: Woohoo ;)
Excellent job!
But still no Galaxy for Linux... And it's most voted feature BY FAR.
Amazing. My updated dos games now do not launch. SDL not present.
What has been changed? the DOSBOX? something else? Just curiosity. I am tryng to verify daggerfall files and galaxy has entered in an infinite installing process...

Any idea?
