Yet another time to celebrate local creativity! Today we're partnering up with the French online event Games Made in France.

If you speak French, don't miss out, as you'll find announcements, reveals, and discussions with developers there. But even if you don't know anything else than "Omelette du Fromage", you can still enjoy a Special Sale with the titles from studios and publishers that will showcase their newest games at the event, until the 25th of October, 1 PM UTC. And don't overlook the new titles added to GOG, like tomorrow's release of Tandem: A Tale of Shadows.

Ahem...

Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood is listed, but it was made in Germany (Spellbound Entertainment was in Kehl just across the border from Strasbourg).

The publisher (Microids) is French.
Let's hope for the addition of some Cryo Interactive, Coktel Vision or Delphine Software titles please.

I'd sure love to get some old CRYO games here, like Commander Blood and KGB (already available DRM-free on zoom store) and some Cocktail games like Ween, Inca and Lost in Time would sure be great.

It'd also be good timing to re-release the classic Dune game (but I don't see the Herbert estate allowing that).

The sale is "*Made* in France", not "*Published* in France" ;)
Bring Remember Me to the store, s'il vous plait.
Not a French game, but the best French-related moment in all gaming.

Yeah, I know,...but this is still GOG, and as we all know - they never cared about such differences. ;)

Well not everything in the sale seems to have a discount, so I suppose that must be what makes it 'special'.

Zoidberg: Isn't the team behind Outcast Belgian?
But, isn't it a French speaking country ?.
If there's one French game I want to see here, it's Rayman Legends.

It seems like an Ubisoft game needs to be at least 15 years old to be released on GOG. I know Origins is available, but that was DRM free to begin with and didn't require Uplay.

Ubisoft might be abandoning the Rayman series anyway, so I don't get why do the still keep the last game unavailable as DRM free, especially since it's 8 freaking years old.

I say might, because I know the events at Ubisoft, that have affected the Rayman series absence, the development hell of BGE2 and Michel Ancel's leave. But now its been over a year since that and if Ubi cares, the higher ups should have had the time they needed to assign a new Rayman project to a new team other than Montpellier. I'll wait and see the next Ubisoft Forward.

But if Rayman still won't show up and Ubisoft really is abandoning the series, then they could at least take care of last game's preservation, which GOG is for.

Legends is not my favorite Rayman game, but its still an amazing 2D platformer in my books. Bring it here now!

Does claiming a Belgian game is French make any more sense than claiming an American game is English?
