fallout 76 was released & continues to trigger people all over the world especially on steroid tube.

Does anyone here feel sorry for bethesda?
I still play skyrim it is a wonderful game but does anyone think a great sequel will really happen? Is it over?

I know there are some great intellects that not only bought that game, fallout 76 but defend it.

Do you like that game? Is it 16 times the size? did you go there?

Fallout 76 was a dumpster fire and Bethesda's idea of 'fallout first' just poured radioactive gasoline on that fire. See what many Fallout fans feel about it Here.

There was anoucement for TES6 but they are radio silent ever since... and based on history and sales, Bethseda devs might even prefer sci-fi over fantasy.

No they have brought it on themselves through their shitty business practices and misleading marketing campaigns. As for a good ES VI or Starfield i can only say that i'm beyond caring at this point and Bethesda can do whatever they want from now on.
Did they not already once pull it and reworked it somewhat?

It's truly heartbreaking what they have done

Like so many others i feel it is over & I really hate to say it, they have betrayed us all.

I think they burned all the free goodwill they had with the userbase. With 76 and the mobile elder scrolls 'Blades' game.

In order for TE6 they would have to do a VERY good job. A major problem with 76 is you couldn't have modders fix the problems so all problems are laid bare and all at bethesda's fault. Plus the old engine...

Might as well... It just works!

I haven't played FO76 (nor have any intention of doing so). As for Bethesda, I think they've simply grown far too complacent and become too used to using the modding community for basic bug fixes to the extent that instead of treating it as a nice bonus they openly seem to plan games around it via reduced beta-testing. Then there was the rip-off paid Skyrim mod debacle (where Bethesda & Valve planned on keeping 75% of revenue between them for other people's work). Then "Creation Club". Like Bioware, I see their RPG Golden Age is long over.

IF they pull off a decent TES6, IF it's 100% single-player, IF modding is open and mods are made available on neutral sites (Nexus, moddb) without being "paywalled" behind Steam Workshop, IF all the usual "quality of life" essentials (eg, "DarnifiedUI" equivalent) de-consolization mods that re-upgrade their increasingly dumbed down UI's to just being playable on a PC are available, IF they don't use Denuvo, etc, then I might regain interest. That's a lot of IF's though which seem incompatible with their current attitude and desired business model.

Same..a little part of me is curious about whether this company can redeem itself but a very large part of me is enjoying EVERY ONE mocking their blatant greed & incompetence. Loooo000L I did not neither will i purchase their stupid game & am some what childishly repulsed by peoples videos trying to enjoy this ridiculous game. I guess some people just have more money than sense. I cant wait to see what outrageously stupid thing bethesda does next...it's become very entertaining to see the ridicule they get every week.

no
in fact - I'm impressed that people bough a lot of their games despite being duct-taped codes barely holding together into "game" package.

I'm wondering why people didn't notice that with FO3 and FO4 games, only after F76 release they went "hmm, their games are actually bad? Yes they are. Time to start the flame war"...

Yeah actually I feel sorry that Interplay sold their fallout IP to Bethesda interactive edutainment pavilion and nursing home

I feel sorry I was conned into buying that DOG PILE fallout 3 and then fallout 4

Don't get me started on Oblivion with it real time soft shadows that you can see through the ribcage here and the swinging chains actually cast shadows e3 2005 evil lie this was before I had the net!

Fallout franchise was already ruined by Bethesda with Fallout 3. I tried playing New Vegas, but even that game, despite some nice touches, is fatally crippled by the gameplay taken over from Fallout 3.
So Bethesda is a pretty evil company imo, I wouldn't mind them being shut down.

Maybe because mods and better experiences overwrites worse ones?

Though i recall playing Morrowind, on a machine that had a hard drive barely able to hold the game. Sometimes the game would crash every 5 minutes and took 3-4 minutes to boot and load. I also played without mods except ones i did myself (because no internet access, and my mods were like modifying night-eye to last longer, and adding key quest items i had lost and couldn't find). Otherwise i had a very vanilla experience with Morrowind. Tons of fun, but at the same time, tons of frustrations...

As for Fallout 3&4. I recall an overview of how Fallout 3 didn't make sense and you got very powerful very quickly, and Fallout 4 the dialog was screwed up and you couldn't play your way, you were down the 'good hero path' no matter what you said.

Maybe Fallout76 the bugs and problems were SO PRONOUNCED AND IMPOSSIBLE TO IGNORE IN THE GAME AND YOU COULDN'T FIX IT AND BETHESDA MAKING PROMISES TO FIX BUT INSTEAD PUSH UPGRADES TO BE PAID FOR IN THE STORE that you know, broke the camel's back of what acceptable level of terrible you are able to overlook as long as you can enjoy the game to some degree in the end.
I like Bethesda, but I don't agree with everything they do. Elder Scrolls 6 will be great. I believe this because they are taking their time with it. I won't play Fallout 76 or ESO because I don't think the MMO formula plugs in well with those games. With Elder Scrolls and Fallout, the focus is on one individual player. The emphasis is freedom. You can RP (which I do), you can power game, you can get all kinds of mods...you can do anything you like. You can't have that kind of experience in an MMO, because everything needs to be balanced.
