Bethesda's games are still going strong years later because of the modding community. If you bite the hands that feed you, you won't get any more food. I can't forget the 'paid mods' fiasco. FO76 is what Bethesda got without modders' support.
If Bethesda turns Elder Scrolls 6 into another FO76, (anti-modding, always online, microtransation store) then I'm out, sayonara. I have always waited for the complete edition, I can always wait and see. I can always go back to my 'classic' bethesda games/backlog.

Hire a dozen modders to make 2 massive huge DLC addons to existing games or make a new game from scratch...

Expanding on my original comment considering how they continue to double down on their incompetent handling of FO76 I would not be surprised if Bethesda itself might be dead rather sooner than later.

They always felt a bit hostile towards their fanbase but when the games did not required their online services and modding mostly was running wild and independent they could be simply ignored after initially buying the game. Now I guess their contempt really shows.

Valid opinion. But since its FPS view only I really could not stand it. I guess I'd even be able to play more FO76 (which I totally acknowledge as a massively inferior game opposed to Outer Worlds) simply because of this. So... FO:NV leaps and bounds ahead of both of them.

The ones hitting my rep now target anyone who replies to me that isn't one of their buddies or that they like, so since you replied to me you got hit with low ratings. I'd say to report it but the staff will likely just tell you what they tell me: "we talked to the ones responsible" or "we are working on it".

As for TinyE it can't be him as he is banned permanently.....it could be one of his buddies(the ones he influences) though.

The phone game's store is normal for a phone game, and Wolfenstein Youngblood seems to be mostly ignored (and microtransactions are honestly the least of its problems). It's really only Fallout 76 that is horrible, and people are only super duper riled up about it because of the franchise and style of games it shit on.

If they release Starfield or whatever in classic Bethesda style, they'll be fine. Will they do that? I don't know.
