It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Barefoot_Monkey: I just finished an update which should get the script working on Violent Monkey and Tampermonkey, for Opera and Chrome users. It was a matter of removing all the for..of loops in the code, as only Firefox supports those. Now I can get to work on the native Chrome extension - then I'll fix the not-logged-in styling and get the notification-hiding done. Also, there's one new feature in this release:

[...]
Cheers for the update, the pin the top bar works great.

But I got a weird effect - the moment I updated the script and refreshed the pages, the top bar seemed to shift to the left and shrink width-wise at the same time (see attached screenshot).
Note, that the effect is the same whether I have my userstyle enabled or not.

I got this both on Win7 (widescreen) and Win XP (14:3).

Anyone else noticed this?

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not, but I have lost the "reply" option and now have 2 "quick post" Options, the second one does not work.

I would attach a pic to show it, but that option is gone too.

Also, I am using Chrome

Goodbye ability to redo actions after I've undone too far while typing a quick reply. Hello, quick hyperlinking.

You're adding Barefoot Essentials to your résumé, right? Or atleast mentioning it during interviews to show your dedication to projects (hard working), helping others (customer service), and what you enjoy (passion)? Same goes for you, mrkgnao. You know why. *serious face*

Anyone else having this issue?
@Barefoot_Monkey

How difficult would it be to reassign "Hyperlinks" to a a different set of keys, say Ctrl+H or Ctrl+K for example?
In Gecko based browsers (perhaps Chrome ones too?), Ctrl+Y is assigned to "Redo" by default, and it'd be nice to keep this functional.

Just asking though, no big deal if not. :-)

Do you get this with the latest script (v2.1.5)? Perhaps uninstall and fresh reinstall it?

I think I figured it out. I had Barefoot essentials installed on Tamper Monkey and through Chrome pretty sure they were conflicting. I removed the Tampermonkey extension and all is well again. I think when I initially installed BE it was not available in the Chrome store so I guess it was running the script twice and I needed to remove one.

@Barefoot_Monkey

I noticed that you have not added anywhere to donate money to you for your hard work on the Chrome extensions page. I really would like to drop you a couple bucks for maintaining this necessity of my GOG experience, especially since I need to use the Chrome-native extension, which is extra work for you for a smaller user-base.
Oh my goodness, the original GOG logo is back! COLOUR!!!

Sorry, I'm late to the party. I disabled the script after the site update and became accustomed to mediocrity. It's been too long. Way too long.

Thanks Barefoot_Monkey :)

Well, I'm back to using Barefoot Essentials, glad to see the improvements this version makes to the new site design. :)

Kind of a strange question, maybe, but is it possible to create a script to make the various dropdown menus in the "Games" and "Movies" sections (the filters) vanish only if one clicks outside of them, instead of on onMouseOut() events? Navigating those can be mildly annoying for someone who tends to occasionally move the mouse the wrong way by accident, so I was wondering if this could be fixed on the browser level.
amazing job Barefoot! Using your script + the fixed top bar one!

A small follow up on this.

It's definitely caused by the new feature for the top bar's position if set to absolute. I've disabled it and am back at achieving it via my userstyle (thanks Eli!) as it works better for me.
There's a new update. I fixed up the styling for the absolute-positioned navigation bar, and the "old-school" style should no longer look weird when logged out.

I believe I have the native Chrome extension working. I'll just need to test a few things and I'll have the update up fairly soon, hopefully.
Yeah for the new update, looks and works fine, cheers! :-)

*disables that part of userstyle*
So the new colourful logo and red notifications were essenials?

I don't know if I should thank Barefoot or scold GOG for sticking with bland-o-vision.

Back in the olden days, we used to have a toggle that hid games we already owned in the catalog. Any chance this can be done?

Thanks mate.
