Thanks all.
Fun games, most of them at least. Thanks for playing, fellas.
Some thoughts from today's fun:

1. Vitek did a nice little ninja move on me in security during an early round. So good I forgive him for imposterizing me. :)

3. Had fun in the one game with blue as imp, getting rid of townies and all...even if we lost.

4. Great Imposter game later on in the session, Vitek. Was Fun :)

Sorry for leaving early btw.....had to go do stuff irl in a hurry.

Yeah, we rocked that one. They haven't even caught scent of us.
But it was very close at one moment. When dedo called meeting i just pressed the kill button. I wasn't even sure it went through or not at first.
If he buttoned even split second sooner I wouldn't be able to kill and would have to wait for cooldown and brown would possibly suspect me for waiting for him. This wasy it was perfect crime, becuse no one could say where it happened. I had no meed to make getaway and I think people haven't even noticed there is another dead. Would it not happen, it could go very different way.

Vitek: When dedo called meeting i just pressed the kill button.
This is something that annoys me a lot. When there isn't a report for a long time and no one thinks of pressing the button. With the current settings we're using a button should be pressed if there wasn't a dead body report for more than 40-50 seconds during the first 1-2 rounds and that time should go down based on the number of crew/impostors remaining for the next task runs.

But doing so causes all bodies to disappear so we have less to go on. Better find a body, I think.

Finding a body 1 minute later with 4 kills isn't that much better either. If the game went of for a minute or more and most of these bodies are already stale you can't really place people around them reliably so having more of them doesn't help that much. Anyway, my point is that the button should always be considered as a prevention tool as well rather than just for when you have something concrete to say about someone. Kill and sabotage cooldowns are messing up the imps flow so if you aren't getting actual dead body reports the button is also a good tool.
The other thing that a lot of people neglect to consider is when we can and should skip and when we need to vote.

On 7 players with 2 impostors left a skip is mandatory unless there is a guaranteed hit with the vote - otherwise a wrong vote is pretty much game over 20 seconds later when both imp do a kill.

Alternatively, on 6 player with 2 imps left a vote is absolutely mandatory because shooting in the dark has ~33% chance of removing one imp but a skip would almost certainly result in a double kill which is game over just like before.

So every time someone (especially players who know what they are doing) is against this they need to be sussed hard and kept an eye on. At least twice I recognized you, ZFR, as an impostor just based on these :)

Thanks for the info. Though I never, consciously at least, was doing anything against this because I was an imp. But I'll be on the lookout.

Ha, interesting. I expected you of all people to have figured this out by now and that's why I thought you were pushing against it as it was in your favor as imp. But yeah, some people don't realize the numbers situation all the time, so it's not always a tell but it's a good basis for suspicion. For example GH who was crew voted me who was also crew for the sole reason I brought this up but GH which is just poor judgement but he tends to do such things every now and again so yeah, not always a definite indication :)

I only learned about "double-kill" in yesterday's game when someone (you?) brought it up. Up till now I alwasy thought the imps share the same kill cooldown.

Sachys: Well, I tried the android version but it was too clumsy for me (even with a decent sized phone) so I'll just have to pass for now.
Do like I'm doing: install an Android emulator and play on M+K. As a side benefit you don't have to purchase to test if you'll really like the game. You only need to close one ad after every match.

If you're not sure what emulator could be a good fit hit me with a PM.

Each has their own kill to work with but they share the sabotages cooldowns. That's why a dead impostor should never sabotage for his alive partner(s). At most they should follow them and maybe help with a door to ensure a kill or protect a dead body for a bit longer while the killer has time to gain distance but even this has to be carefully done if it's obvious the active imp has hard time doing it by themselves. But major sabotages that enable plays - yeah, don't do that :)
