If someone comes to my playground and tries on purpose to ruin the game I play with others it is not about if one allows to bother them. It simply is bothersome and ignoring it solves nothing, when the behaviour is an obstacle in enjoyment. And leaving just make them win, it's not the outcome I want it to end in. Why shouldn't they leave (be banned) instead?

I've been interested in trying this game and I'm going to do it soon, but this saturday is going to be impossible for me because of some hard work I have scheduled for me and a few relatives.

I can probably join you guys soon enough like maybe mid-next week

The thing is, in this case we have multiple "playgrounds"(servers) to play on.....so it's very easy to ignore it by leaving to another room/game....and yeah that might not solve much, but getting bothered by it likely wouldn't solve anything either.

(Also many actual trolls like when people get overly bothered by such behaviors, and show that they are....so often it's better to ignore them somehow as then they give up and move on)

I actually didn't say such players shouldn't be banned....it might be a good option for the worst cases(actual and majorly disruptive trolling, etc), at the very least.

As for banning in general: I am against much banning as it is used more and more on smaller and smaller problems/"problems" where it is employed, and essentially acts as "bubble wrap" for people's (I mean in general, this isn't talking about yourself) minds and psyches.

(I am much more of the mind that only serious problem makers get banned from sites and things, and that people should ignore/block the rest if need be. I also think people should learn to grow thicker skin in general and not let things get to them as much)

Maybe it's because I know people who've been accused of being trolls and trolling by others (not you, of course) who throw the word around like free pizza to describe thing and people they find bothersome in general....so when someone (in general) starts throwing around the world troll all willy nilly (or seems to do so) I sometimes feel compelled to reply a bit on the topic.

(Btw some people like to joke in good fun, and to them it's like good natured "riffing" and "ribbing"....so they might enjoy it)
