Thanks for the games, guys!

Too bad I couldn't arrive earlier. But nice games indeed.

That white guy who almost won imp alone (after I was falsely accused of venting --* ) said it was one of the best lobbies he ever played. A few others said it too.

After the game where black was trolling and screwing around and yellow was outright lying when they weren't talking about their big brain?
That's kind of sad. :-)

Nah, I believe you had better games afterwards but I got my impression only from this one and it wasn't exactly stellar. :-)

Sorry for leaving just when you arrived but I was long overdue already and simply had to go.

I was rooting for white in that game. He did a very good job as imp while black was terrible all round. In the end black actually saw white pop out of the vent in shields and kill and he didn't report the body but just ran around a bit and was about to leave up. Then you came from the left and only now black comes back and reports. I was certain he was going to frame you for that kill. I don't know how he managed to actually convince others white was the killer after all the bs he did that round. White was great and should have won that. I'm actually bummed out we couldn't exchange numbers with that guy and get him on our regular games.

I voted white in the end because, despite black's antics, they were cleared of previous kill because they hung out with purple when the only kill happened.
Also there was that I was wary of white from before when they claimed they were on cams while I didn't see them there.
I get why white deserved to win more but I wanted to win as well and sometimes you've got to overlook one's behaviour and consider who is actually killer instead of obnoxious prick. Just like in mafia.
Like we didn't in that one game. When imps could be only among 3 people. You, imp 1, gave good explanation where you were. So did white, imp 2. Lime, crew 1, spouted nonsense and so got of course voted out and lost us the game.
Understandable (even more because we were under time pressure), deserved but also wrong.

Who I still am not sure about is that CORPSE person. Were they really that bad or were they trolling?
I think I will never know.

Would you believe I only learnt yesterday you can tell if someone is on cams from the light on cameras itself?
I haven't killed GR in one of the previous games only because I was afraid it will be seen on cams while they were actually off.

:) We learn every day!

On that topic, one little tip - on Polus the lights on the cameras will be on if someone is on the cams console rather than that particular camera you standing next to. Meaning, that there a decent chance the person watching doesn't see you. I learned that by accident when I was forced to kill someone in front of the cam on right admin doors while ZFR was watching. A third player saw me and reported the body behind me but I instantly blamed them for a self-report and urged the watcher to back me up as they should have "seen" the kill and that I was innocent of it. I didn't know it worked like that back then but ZFR didn't say anything initially so I just decided to all-in on it and that gave me the victory afterwards. So yeah, don't kill or vent while the lights on the camera are on but if you do on Polus know there is still a small chance to lie your way out of it.

Yes, that was strange...

I get a feeling not a troll. Just messed up several times in a row.

I was killed, my killer dropped, so you had 1vs8 at the meeting. I thought surely you won't lose this but CORPSE still kept going for the wrong people everytime, including a very unneccsary vote at 1vs3 which should have been an auto skip.

Yes, I dislike the Polus cameras for that reason.

I have a question after you left, in one game I stack-killed (4 or 5 people standing in admin on the card reader), and a player who came into the room just as I killed correctly identfied me. He wasn't guessing; he was sure. And he wasn't a troll/poor player. Any idea how that can happen?

Not sure. Maybe he was already sus of you and having you in yet another crime scene made him confident enough it's a good vote. Or maybe it wasn't a great stack and you and/or the victim weren't covered well enough. I believe there is a small "jump" the imp does when making the kill which may be noticed by others especially when everyone is standing still for a task. In most cases there is low risk of this happening as people stacking for a task are doing the task and have the stack covered by it's panel. A good player who is anticipating the kill may wait on it so they can see or even step aside a bit to evade getting killed while potentially witnessing the murder. Another decent way to go about it is to do it why people are running in a group in the same direction - then the small jump is covered by everyone's movement most of the times and it's a matter of theatrics on how you're going to wrap it up - keep running, stop and look confused or run back and self-report.

Disclaimer: This is mostly theoretical and I can't guarantee it will work every time. It's a high risk move and I normally do it only if I don't have any other options left or if I believe it's too good of an opportunity to miss (for framing people who are already suspicious and such). Also, I suppose it matters who is on that stack. If you're the only suspicious person there while others have been cleared to various degrees you're likely going to get blamed for it first.

P.S.: Or maybe he was just correct by accident. Everyone has moments where you're 100% certain you have stone cold evidence to sign someone's death warrant and you end up hitting correct but only because you were lucky, not because they actually were guilty of what you thought you saw or figured out.

Yeah, Polus cameras are much worse. I tend to scroll through them very quickly and only if I see someoen on the cam I tend to stop there and watch them. While the kill is most likely being shown on another cam. :-)

But it felt like it was bit too many times. They almost always managed to vote wrong. They vote very quickly, said nothing about their vote and went asked said nothing at all.
Yet other times they were able to post full long sentences so language or other problems apparently weren't the issue.
So I don't really know what was their deal and what way to lean about them.

We know you hate Polus so you don't have to give specific reasons for disliking its parts. :-p

Easy to answer, you are bad at killing. :-)

He was trolling for sure at first. On round 1, I think, he actually said he is an impostor and I voted him for that as it was a shit thing to do regardless of whether it was true or not. Then on the next round he kept going at it by saying he would kill Purple, who was calling him names, next. Finally, the fact he was almost going to run from a kill he saw happen without reporting at the end of the game makes him 100% troll, in my opinion. I was certain he was going to blame Vitek for it and try to throw the game. I couldn't believe what happened next!!
