OK, the loss of manual sorting, combined with the 100 item-per-page limit, is definitely a turn-off for me. Nothing screams "ease of use" quite like adding several pointless clicks to get to a game that got moved because it doesn't share the exact same name as the game that came before it.

Is there a button somewhere for the refresh page? when did account/refresh go away and user/refresh show up? thanks for the heads up.

Thank you, I downloaded the expansion (Mysteries of the Sith) as a DLC to Dark Forces 2 but now it seems to be a separate product. I should start the account refresh on a daily basis...

I didn't want to be negative, but I really liked manual sorting and being able to see everything on one page. I mean, I'm pretty upset about those things being missing now! I loved organising my collection in my own idiosyncratic way. It was perfect! I also don't like how the box art is smaller.

I like that the movies tab is improved and order history is really good, but I'm not happy losing actual important (to me) functionality. Some of the new functionality will be good, but I don't think it's worth the loss. I hope these are being worked on!

Wait, we also lost the black shelving? Ah crap. I've always disliked light stylesheets too. No, I don't like this at all...

It's now ridiculously ugly. So much wasted space to just list the name of the game below the art... Why does the game name have to be listed twice when it's already in the box art? If people want to see text, let the choose the list view. I just want the old box art back. After all the work that was put in to add box art for the unbundling now it's just completely gone?

Hate, hate, hate the forced page size limit. Now if I want to browse my library I have to go through 10 pages? This is supposed to encourage me to buy more, so I can just add more pages? Really?

Hate the drop down menus. It was so much more efficient and easy to use before when 1 click would bring everything up...

Viewing unredeemed gifts is now a convoluted mess. What was wrong with 1 click to view them? Now it takes 4.

Ah, I get it. GOG Galaxy remains totally optional, but features will be removed from the site one at a time, or well hidden at least.

I spent hours on sorting my shelf until it felt right... thanks a bundle for taking this away from me without advance warning.

Then again... removing manual sorting at this particular moment was only consequential, it had already been totally f***ed up by the unbundling anyway...

I wonder whether GOG has ever considered getting feedback on changes before rolling them out for everyone. I mean, other than with a three-day-old pre-announcement thread.

A few suggestions about tags and filter:

- Allow us to define tag prioity by drag&drop entries in the tag management list
- Show not only one tag per game, but the 3 top priority ones (and all of them per drop-down list, if more)
- on the top of the library, there are unneccecarily 3 rows of drop down lists. "view as" and "sort by" could be put on the right aligned side next to "my collection"
- wouldn´t it make sense to add the tag filter to the "my collection list?". Because the tags are like personalized categories.
- It would be great to add more sort options (genre, first tag, ...)
- please give us the option, to show all games on one page
- if the screen/browser-space is available, the drop-down lists and the asign tag list should be bigger or fully visible.
- I would like to see the "View Downloads" option from the gog.com account page also in the galaxy client.

GOG said that all past PMs would be imported into the new "Chat" system. Unfortunately all my contacts and PMs seem to be gone. Also I am not able to answer a frien request (nothing happens when I klick the button or the arrow on it). Good news again?

I was up bright and early, sent out a ton of PM's with gift codes for Sinistar's Nordic giveaway, and - with a puff of smoke - they vanished.
I can't even rely on emailed PM's, many people don't subscribe to them, and they are very unreliable. This morning I received, for the 3rd time or perhaps more, an email of a PM from Sinistar, sent weeks ago.

As for the giveaway - sigh. Can only hope that people will post in the giveaway thread, and I'll have to find another way to get the codes to them, as I can't hang around all day waiting to figure out how chat works.

A little advance warning would have worked wonders, for me at least.

As can be expected there a quite a few bugs and/ or omissions. For instance, all the Sierra Quests: Leisure Suit Larry, King's Quest and Space Quest are not listed when I select the genre "Adventure"

I never used manual sorting. I never cared much for that feature so I don't miss it in the slightest.

However you can still sort manually. :)

It's very hard work but if you're so dedicated for manual sorting this is how you do it:

Make a tag for every game title you can think of. This can be as simple as 1, 2, 3 ,4, etc. The game you want to be on top you start with the first character that will appear (since games are sorted alphabetically based on tag) then after you made a tag for every game you activate all of your custom made tags and voila, you sorted your games manually. =D

I guess if you got 1000 games, you need to make 1000 tags, but hey you got manual sorting still!
