Become a hero in a fantasy world of fearless knights, evil mages, wise kings and beautiful princesses. Explore the land, command armies and accomplish quests for your king to reap great rewards... Or suffer devastating defeats.

The gameplay is divided into two major sections: adventure mode and tactics mode. While playing in adventure mode you control your hero in real-time, seeking various treasures, fighting monsters and accomplishing quests tasked to you by the local stewards.
Once in tactics mode you assume the role of a war chief, leading your troops in tactical turn-based combat.

Battles take place on land or sea, in dungeons or castles or even in certain items! The hero himself doesn't participate in the combat, but can assist his troops by casting spells or summoning different creatures.

Easily the biggest annoyance comes in learning your limits; it's far too easy for enemies to absolutely... full review

Great game (by Wolverine Wolverine)
Excellent game. One could say this is a HoMaM clone, but this game is more than that. Genetically enhanced clone, if you will. Castle management is simplified and you have only one hero, so the world map is real-time, but combat is turn-based. You have to take care when upgrading your hero though, and monsters on the world map do not respawn, so you cannot farm experience and because... full review

one of the classic, done only 2 years ago (by Mothra Mothra)
i agree with above review, kings bounty is a marvel to behold. if all "sequels" or "reimaginations" would be done with that attention to detail and so much love. This game oozes style, fun, cheekiness and has some of the most insane and twisted missions / plot I came across. And once played you can start it up anytime and feel right at home so I completed my... full review
