More a 2013 game than 2023
Very slow pace in certain areas with no voice acting and unskippable dialogue. The graphics and game play are nothing special but it caused my graphics card to work harder than if I was running CyberPunk! 5/10 meh

More bugs and glitches
It's a shame really, you can tell the people at Owlcat put a lot of heart and soul into their games but it always comes with lots of glitches and problems. This time it was right off the bat. I download the game and for some reason it's a beta version of the game. The Deluxe Edition content won't install. What's the point of getting the deluxe editions anymore if they don't even work. This will be my last Owlcat game.

I admit the politics squicked me out
I have never played Warhammer. I wanted to give this a try because of the previous pathfinder games from owlcat, and bought it. Then I learnt more about the game and the setting. Just heads up for other people in my same situations: this is a "why fascism can actually be good!" game, written and made by a Russian company. As my friend said "are those developers, or are they three propagandist in a french coat?" So unless you want to wade through endless discussion on "why fascism is actually good!" in forums when you are trying to get the hang on how to build your character... play something else, really.

Copy/paste but make it look different
(Played on gamepass) So let me begin by mentioning a few concepts. Raise your hand if you notice any similarities: - Pointy-eared immortal race that is slowly perishing - Pointy-eared dark version of said immortal race that enjoy sadism and are servants of chaos - The symbol of chaos - Magic is frowned upon and considered a tool of chaos - Navigators are an essential resource for space travel - An AI rebellion that led to the consecutive ban of the aforementioned technology - Elite soldiers trained in hostile environments on specific planets Just straight a copy/paste job from lord of the rings, Elric of Melnibone and dune. There is nothing here that would suggest this is different from the source material. Actually let me take it back since that would be a disgusting insult to Tolkien, Moorecock and Herbert. The source material is far better Also the haughty pointy-eared immortal calls humans "monkeigh"? And this subpar universe spawned a huge fandom? I suppose some people need to be left behind in order for humanity to progress

Not a game, but a pile of crap code
Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader should not be called a game. It is more like a pile of code that was written by one finger of the left leg that left after developers returned from "special operation". GAMERS I am asking you to buy the Dawn of War games it is a much better investment, at the same time Rogue Trader - is throwing huge amounts of money to the wind!!!
