Better than i remember

Completely Unplayable
The game itself looks good but it is unplayable because of the bugs. I had bought this game and spent several hours playing it over the weekend; constantly reloading after crashes and save file corruptions. Even fully patched (and this even includes unofficial patches) the game will continuously Lock Up, Crash, Corrupt your save files, and a host of other nasty surprises. From minor to crippling, this is the buggiest game I have ever played. As fun as it may be, you will very likely suffer from an unrecoverable error early on.

Not worth the bother
I bought this game when it came out. The bugs were so bad it wouldn't even start up. A patch was eventually released so we could actually get into the game - and man it just wasn't worth it. There's actually a good ruleset in here, but it's choked by breaking gameplay bugs and a terrible interface. Considering this came out ages after Baldur's Gate et al it is shocking just how far away it is in terms of polish. Avoid unless you are a D&D completest.
