Exploder of Melvin Underbelly

For the Overlord! Played through the game multiple times; Purchased multiple times (Physical, Steam and GOG). Enjoyable story with some fun humour. A good variety of locations, that slowly allows you to discover the various types of minions you have under your control. I still like the visual style of the game, even all these years later. The controls of the game is what i would say is one of the flaws. At least the responsiveness of the controls, and you commanding your minions. Graphic glitches and some bugs may be encountered during gameplay. Regarding performance; i would say the experience is subpar. Not bad and not great, considering how much faster things are today, than at release in 2007. If you want to fix any tearing issue you might have. Turn off v-sync in game, and enable it in your gpu's controlpanel for the game.

Masterpiece IMO

I always appreciated what Codemasters did with Overlord 1 and 2. I always liked the first game, although I must admit that the second one is more complete. Unique playstyle, good humor and tons of fun. If you can, get them both. Too bad this one doesn't support cloud saves (Overlord 2 does), and there are no achievements, but on the bright side the graphics aged like fine wine. How often can you play a game from 2007 and launch it in Full HD widescreen without tweaks and hacks.
