Get in touch with your despotic side in Overlord, the twisted fantasy action adventure where you can be evil (or really evil). In the game's seriously warped fantasy world, you’ll become the Overlord and find out for yourself whether absolute power corrupts absolutely. You could be a regular Overlord who only overlords during banking hours. However, with incredible power at your disposal and a team of evil-minded impish critters, the Minions, on hand to do your bidding, how will you resist the temptation to be wonderfully despotic?
Delve deeper into the Overlord's twisted world as Overlord: Raising Hell opens up a series of hellish new levels, each a twisted, corrupted version of the five major kingdoms: Mellow Hills, Evernight, Heaven's Peak, the Golden Halls, and the Ruborian Desert. Access to each abyss is via a portal, which opens once a kingdom has been successfully conquered and the previous ruler banished to a personal hell within. However it's not just the fallen heroes that have been dragged into the abyss: the Overlord's newly loyal peasants have also been taken down into hell too. Do you have what it takes to be really, really, really evil?
Find out in this fun mixture of fantasy role-playing, action, and adventure with just a little pinch of RTS!
Includes both Overlord and Overlord: Raising Hell.
Get in the action and become the Overlord, the all powerful dark lord with a horde of minions to command and a land to conquer.
Conquer a twisted fantasy world and show the Seven Heroes, demonic Halflings, and Rabid Unicorns who's boss.
Control a horde of slavish and loyal minions as they smash, destroy, kill and steal anything for you. Your word is law.

This is one of the funniest fantasy/action games i have ever played. The story is funny as hell, the creatures and people of this world will make you laugh so har that you'll get a stomach ache.. and the best of it: It's all about being evil! as evil as you can get! just pour some evil over everybody and this game is the one you want!
It was fun for a bit, I couldn't make it all the way through. The control scheme seems decent at first but the minion AI gets frustrating, and the need to farm some types of life force to make up for the AI problems gets old.
Gameplay is about being lead through missions in a corridor shooter style, but after putting some hours in I feel like it was closer to a point-and-click adventure.
There's very little strategy either, so it didn't have enough to compel me to finish.
It's not bad, though, and the game has a sense of humor, it just wasn't enough to keep me interested.
Become Walmart Sauron and forge your evil empire. Command your near-mindless, suicidal gremlins who hang on your every word, Be the picture of cruelty and depravity, or walk the path of the avenging dark angel sent to chastise the decadent, fallen heroes. Soulless tyrant or grim anti-hero? The choice of how evil Walmart Sauron will be is entirely in your mailed fist!
A very enjoyable first foray into the world of the Overlord, worth playing before tackling the even more entertaining sequel. This series was so good that its font was even hijacked by a mediocre isekai anime (is there any other kind?) of the exact same name.
Had a blast with this game and pleased to see it supports LAN multiplayer as well. From an era where LAN play was still a thing :D
The game is not like much else out there so I sugest you watch a video of the game play and it it appeals take the plunge.
