War is Hell. NecroVision is a first-person shooter that takes gamers across the frantic battlegrounds of World War I and into a dark underworld of vampires, demons and dark magic.
Seeking adventure, young American Simon Bukner joins the British army in war-torn Europe of 1916. During a particularly ferocious battle, Bukner and his battalion are pushed into a series of dark trenches where they encounter mysterious phenomenon. As they move through the labyrinth they discover that there is a greater evil hiding underneath the battle-fields of the Great War — an evil that is forcing its way into our world and threatens to wipe out humanity. In the depths of this newly discovered underworld, Bukner must confront the dark forces and fight for the survival of mankind.

Eh.... I would say avoid.
I never made it passed the first level as I got stuck with no where to go once coming out of the starting area and shooting some soldiers. Visually the game for it's age is pretty good except shadows looking like there are millions of little bugs on everything. Performance is terrible dropping down to 63 FPS on an RTX 2060 with Ryzen 2600x at 2560x1440. Sound is serviceable but not noteworthy, similar in performance sound wise to something liek Medal Of Honor on the PS2. Avoid.

Played first chapter then games doesn't load. Shame it looked fun. Perhaps it's just too old?

Utterly horrible
Cutscenes, walls of text during level loading (won't let you start the level until the voice audio is done reading the wall of text), head-bob and screen shake that make me wanna puke. Recoil on rifle is unreal. Janky movement... The first 10 minutes of the game barely let me do anything at all, it was just a series of cutscenes, level loads and stupidity. I'd already grown tired of it on account of that alone, but the screen shake is literally sickening. Tried to turn off in options, no luck. I'd rather play any other game I've already played instead of this one, and that includes games I wrote scathing reviews for. This is the bottom of the barrel. People compare this to Painkiller? Get yrself sorted. This is one of the worst games I've ever played, sincerely. I will have a hard time looking at Chernobylite or WW3 the same again after this.
