Don't make them like they used to.
As much as I love the Elder Scrolls series, started on Daggerfall, I always felt that the Might & Magic games were better in almost every way! Its a fantastic series of RPG games that every fan should play especially M&M 6 and 7! The world is huge and the quest is very long so this game for $9.99 (About £6) is a bargain for such a masterpiece!

Criminally overlooked
These days it's all about fancy graphics, and handholdingly "Epic" stories.. And that's all good stuff. But this is the stuff that legends are made of.. A huge, handcrafted, sandbox fantasy setting with tons of side quests, monster slaying, D&D like dungeon crawling, political intrigue, hefty character customisation and one of my favourite mini games of all time. There is a 'lot' of content here, and a committed player can almost certainly get more than 100 hours out of this game. The combat is a major part of the game, and it is relatively straightforward. It involves spamming the attack button to attack the closest enemy, mouse clicking to attack a specific target(or a far away target with the bow or spell), navigating the spell book and casting by clicking on an enemy or party member. There is also an option to enable turn based combat, and it can be very useful while fighting powerful or throngs of enemies. Clerics, mages, wizards and all the other spellcasting classes have many many spells to choose from at the highter levels. The spells range from simple damaging spells, to buffs and passive abilities such as a magical torch or a spell that reveals npcs on the mini map. Suprisingly, the M&M series is relatively unknown, and many would probably dismiss this game at a glance. But thankfully, graphics don't make a game, and if you can look past it's rugged presentation, you'll find a deep and engrossing rpg experience the likes of which we likely won't see again.

Amazing, Old School, Perfect
I spent many a glorious summer day in my youth at home playing Might and Magic 7 on my Window's 95. The game is compelling, beautiful, and in depth. Easily the best in the series, as mentioned before, I found that 6 fell short of it, and 8 tried to hard, but 7 was the absolute perfect game.

Great but so difficult..
I started this series with M&M 8, and was so facinated that couldnot wait for buing this, even though I didn't finish M&M8. As I say, the whole series are all amazing!! About the engines and graphics and all detalis, I will say this M&M 7 is the most wonderful one in the whole series. Without any doubt, they are all difficult to finish, but the interface is quite easy to understand. The world map is very large, so you can explore it with pleasure! I recommend this series to all the classic RPG users who haven't expericed this, without hesitation!!
