A classic
Stunning story, engaging gameplay. The game looks a bit dated now, in 2022, of course. Nevertheless, it is still one of the best classics. I'd play this again and again. I had hoped they'd make a sequel, but apparently no, they'd rather make Anthem or Andromeda.

Blow my Mind back in 2007
Like every Bioware RPG in the past, Jade Empire was a masterpiece for me. The replayability is relatively high and it was really fun to play through it again after such a long time. With the Asian setting, it was completely fresh and different back then. Those who like the old Bioware titles will fall in love with the title immediately. Fantasic game
First things first, this game is amazing, the story, the combat. Everything about this game is great. However, the reason I have rated this only 2 stars is because this game runs HORRIBLY on a win 7 pc. You will need to get into your jadeempire.ini files and mess with them to get any kind of decent FPS out of this game on a newer system. I fought with it for hours attempting to get it to work, tried every trick I could find and still I couldnt get the FPS over 10 fps and this is on a i7 machine with 32gb of ram that can run Bioshock Ultimate on Ultra at 75 fps. Despite how cheap the game is here on GOG it was simply put. Not worth the hassle, buy the 10.00 version on the 360 marketplace and call it a day.

Nice setting, pretty graphics but stupid dialogs of "press 1 if good, press 2 if evil" type, and shitty storyline.
