Heroes of Might and Magic® 5 is a turn-based strategy game in which you can build cities and besiege them, train troops and slaughter them, and explore new lands – and crush them under your iron heel. You directly command your armies on the battlefield and aid them with your character’s abilities as well as your own strategy skills. With six unique factions to choose from, each with its own set of buildings and creatures, Heroes of Might and Magic® 5 provides gamers with the strategy and detailed graphics that the series has been known for. As you progress through the game your character gains levels of experience that allow him to learn new spells and abilities. All this is set in the magical and enchanting setting of the legendary Might and Magic® universe.
I enjoyed every second of the three campaigns and every white night playing with my buddies against AI. The third installment really brought something totally new and unexpected, WoG style. I recommend it warmly.
Pretty much same old Heroes 3 in 3D, with few improvements to the classic gameplay: better leveling system for heroes, alternative upgrades for units, finally nerfed Necropolis)
Fantastic strategy game that brings so many memories with fantastic graphics for is age. Hours of gameplay, large variety of factions and ton of different units. Very interesting characters and classic storyline with immersive missions...
this game is for me a true worthy successor to Heroes of Might and Magic 3, it contains the ability to have set items, specializing the hero and multiple new creatures.
The rebel forces are a nice addition.
I always seem to return to HoMaM 3 and 5 - it does not require better graphics, but longer and more deep stories.
HOMMV demo was first game I ever played, as I bought it incidentally with some magazinge. After about 20 minutes I was in love and even not being a gamer I was willing to buy this game just after lunching. I played HOMMV two times and I'm a big fan of it. In my opinion dragons in this part are most beautiful and there is interesting plot with heart catching romance. Still one of my favorite games of all times.
