Online multiplayer is not avaliable
Game is superb, but GOG version doesn't have online nor LAN option, only splitscreen. This is probably devs choice for odd reason but still sad.

A different take on Rollcage
A great arcade racer that some may call "The Spiritual Successor of Rollcage", but is more appropriate to define as a different take on it. You drive what could be described as "powerful supersonic tanks" that can travel on any surface and at any degree angle while shooting eachother with an arsenal of missiles and other weapons. The game features different game modes like the standard vanilla race and campaign with preset events, or the "speed demon" race with only booster powerups to name a few, and if you ever feel like spicing things up, there are "modificators" such as "insta-kill" or "hyperdrive" as well to create your own custom races and events. The tracks are divided in four main themes that could be summarized as: Desert, Snow, Artificial, and Seaside Woods. While it might look like there is a lack of variety, the tracks themselves all have a different take on the formula, sometimes being on a "plain" field, sometimes twisting and spinning around with loops and upside-down paths, and sometimes even shifting from a snowy road to the inside of a volcano, or from a seaside to an underwater tunnel. The only two issues with the game are the janky physics and cheatsy AI. To put it simple, the physics in this game are unpredictable, the kind that you can hit a barrel and have a chance to either send it to the moon or have your car trip over it (I'm not kidding). As for the AI, raising the difficulty turns the races from a 10 Vs 10 into a 1 Vs 10, because the opponent cars will all focus their attacks on you regardless of how many other racers might be on their sight. Overall, this is one of the most fun Sci-Fi racers out there. The races are intense, the tracks are fun to drive thorough, the vehicles are powerful monsters, and hitting enemies with missiles always feels great.

I can finally lay XGRA to rest.
I'll keep it short. This game has far more in common with XGRA (PlayStation2) than Wipeout or Redout, which for me is a good thing. I like Wipeout and its imitators, but I'd rather spend my time playing racing stuff like XGRA, Slipstream 5000, Hi-Octane, and Rush 2049. That said, this game delivers! It's pretty easy to get into and it's not sporting some sort of convoluted interface. I put off buying this game for a while because the driving-upside-down feature looked like a shallow gimmick, but I can confirm it is not. You have to be going fast enough to hang on to walls otherwise you'll fall off! It has all sorts of car customization including AMD, Intel, and NVIDIA liveries. Now they've added hovercars that look more like something out of the 5th Element movie, so that's a neat optional twist. While the game is unforgiving when you don't yet know the track layouts, it's pretty easy to learn so getting good enough to place on the podium is a fairly quick process. I got this gem on sale, but had I known how much fun it was I would've gladly paid full price.

20% the price for 20% the fun
Rollcage is one of my all-time favourite racing games, so I was extremely excited when I saw this obvious spiritual successor. But then I learned that the GOG version has no network multiplayer, while the Steam version has it. Shame on the devs for denying honest GOG customers a large part of the fun of a combat-oriented racing game. Like many GOG customers, I boycot Steam for its DRM. So, buying the Steam version isn't an option for me. Thus, I didn't want to buy this game for anything more than a fraction of the full price, since although I may play it alone sometime, I'll only have a fraction of the fun that multiplayer would've given me. In this state, the game is not much more than a gameplay demo for me. I managed to get it at 80% discount for 5€, which was appropriate. 20% the money and 20% of five stars for 20% of the fun. A real pity.

An average game 游戏很平庸
Average driving experience, average graphic quality, poor soundtrack. Works well on cheap computers. Split-screen multiplayer and exciting ( but too few ) weapons make it great for party. A nice game only when 80% discount. 手感平庸，画质平庸，音乐不太行（主要是普且信，这音乐还敢拿出来单卖）。 渣机（轻薄本）运行效果不错。 可以分屏，乱炸，适合派对玩。 打2折买还不错，原价就算了。
