Gemini Rue

i just finished the game a couple of minutes ago and i have to say it is quite the achievement. when it comes to games i'm a total sucker for atmosphere and story and this gem has it in bucket loads. it really manages to hit that blade runner-itch through its stellar vangelis-esque soundtrack (think those moody synth-saxophones). combine that with a hard-boiled noir detective and a capturing story with some nice twists and turns and you have gemini rue. thank you joshua nuernberger and wadjet eye games!

I'm an active gamer since the early 90's, but I've never seen such a good story in a game industry. Ever! It's not very original, it's not something that would blow my mind away, but.. It's just solid, well-made, full of details and memorable characters. As for the adventure gameplay, it's very logical and maybe even trivial, but puzzles here just accompany main story, so it's perfectly fine.

...and emotional. I don't believe there's a way to go wrong with this purchase for anyone who appreciates love put into games like these. In my top, ya bet!

This is as good as adventure games get. The story is brilliantly written and paced, the puzzles are clever and fair, and the whole thing is drenched in rainy, cyberpunk chic. Well worth the price.

Such glorious gem always reminds me how fun to play Adventure game is. Normally I play fast-paced action games and shooters, but this, THIS game completely blew my mind. You are Azriel Odin, a cop who is ex-assassin and his younger brother is trapped in a prison located somewhere deep in the outerspace. You know what? A PRISON IN THE DEEP OUTERSPACE!! How awesome it gets? Are we playing "The Guardians of the Galaxy"?? Well, it definitely is different from the "GG", but this "GR" is as awesome as that. Story is well written. It's like reading really good novel. You can't stop proceeding and will forget the time. And the graphic! I believe this style was actual part of their plan for making this. I don't know this feeling is correct, but it reminds me the good-old Japanese sci-fi animes. Yeah, it is not always polished, but it's full of creativity with warm human touch. And sometimes such creativity is the crucial essense for great storytelling. Anyway, if you feel your interests rise even a little, go buy this one! I assure you. $9.99 is unbelievably cheap for this masterpiece.
