Gemini Rue

I just finished playing Gemini Rue and I must say it's one of the best games I have ever played. I love adventure games and I love noir gender, so Gemini Rue fits perfectly. The story, music, visuals, voices can be described in one word - amazing. It's that kind of game you won't forget, it's a beautiful experience and I'm sure that at some point in the future I will play it again.

A point and click adventure done in the style of the classics of the mid 90s. Great puzzles, common sense solutions, great writing and a fun story. Only one puzzle bugged out on me and required me to hit a walk through but that did not take away from my over all enjoyment. Even the combat(something point and click adventures struggle with) is fun and engaging. Highly recommended.

Although its quite shord, about 8 hours of gameplay, it provides very solid gameplay experience. Although its a new game, its made in retro 90'ies style. Graphics is pixelated but it does not make any worse. The plot is great, interesting ,well written.and has some unexpected turnarounds of action. The puzzles are quite easy and intuitive, so its hard to get stuck and get frustrated, and this only makes the overall experience better, lets you focus on the story. The stori like I said is realy realy good so to finish this chaotic monologue i highly recommend this game ;)

I was playing this on Steam and thought I could write a review on GOG. So here I am, Gemini Rue is a great indie adventure with an impressive storyline, brilliant OST and "tech noir" atmosphere which isn't broken by the pixelated low res graphics. Highly recommended to old school adventure fans, even though the puzzles are a bit easy.
