Fallout London is a total conversion mod made by Team FOLON® for Fallout 4 GOTY and requires you to own the base game on either GOG or Steam.
How to install and play Fallout London:
If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on Steam, please click here to access the installation's instructions provided by Team FOLON®. You will have to downgrade your version, then install the Fallout: London via our dedicated launcher.If you own Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition on GOG, since our version is directly compatible with Fallout: London, you will only have to follow these easy steps:
- Install the English version of Fallout 4: GOTY Edition via GOG GALAXY and disable your cloud saves.
- Get Fallout London in our store for free.
- Install Fallout London via GOG GALAXY and launch it.
- Follow the launcher’s instructions, and enjoy!
A Polite Disclaimer
In typical imperial British fashion, Fallout: London will take over your Fallout 4 installation. Installing Fallout: London will make irreversible changes to the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation. You’ll also need to disable cloud saves (as the save folder is shared between the game and the mod). If you’d like to play the default Fallout 4: GOTY Edition again, you’ll need to uninstall the game and the mod, and then reinstall Fallout 4: GOTY Edition.
Summary
Fallout: London lets you explore a dishevelled London set in the Fallout universe. It overhauls Fallout 4 with a new story, new weapons, London-centric items and a vast recreation of the ruined city to explore.
Fallout: London is a free total conversion mod for Fallout 4, available to anyone who owns the base game and all of its DLCs. It is developed non-commercially by Team FOLON, many of whom are proud London residents or expats.

Very nice
Having a great time playing through the mod. The scope of the work and detail put into it is really impressive. I'm getting the occasional crash but nothing I haven't been able to work around and already put more than 10 hours into it. Having a ton of fun with the mod

Bit unstable innit
It's a good mod once you reduce (most) crashes by installing Buffout 4/xSE Plugin Preloader/Address Library (and it's dependencies) and also High FPS Physics Fix because Bugthesda still hasn't fixed the long load screen nonsense. Make sure to install those to the appropriate Fallout 4 GOTY folders, and not the Fallout London folder, since Fallout London is actually installed to the Fallout 4 GOTY folder. Then set the graphics settings to High preset (via Fallout 4 launcher), make sure Weapon Debris is OFF, and also set Shadow Quality to Medium and turn off reflections/motion blur. And disable all autosaving for good measure (you will have to be paranoid about manually saving though, but it's worth it for further reduced crashing, since a decent amount of crashes tend to happen from autosaves.) Then once you get the game remotely stable, carefully consider your character build, and maybe start a new game on Easy or Very Easy, because Fallout London is noticeably harder than Fallout 4. Even towards the end, every other human enemy was really bullet spongy, and wouldn't go down to anything less than a crit headshot from a decently powerful gun. I'd like to rate this higher, but it's just a bit too unstable, even after the borderline mandatory addons to have to install just to make it remotely stable, that and there's more than a few dialogue bugs that prevented me from completing a few quests.... and the main quest gets a bit too faffy in some areas. Don't forget to smoke your dog food and eat your cigarettes (very addicting).

Bold but unfinished
Probably more reviews point out the current status (R3 = 1st patch) of the MOD, meaning being alarmingly buggy. For the good part, I definitely appreciate complete overhaul, offering new world, story, side-quests, NPCs and followers. Feels like truly good game as well with a worthy plot. But then you encounter drop-to-OS issues, and after downloading 3rd party fixes from nexus, this drops become less frequent, but do not disappear. Then you ride a boat, while you cannot save for few minutes, just to be "pushed" from the boat into water, barred from moving/swimming, and getting 169 RADs per seconds (even with Rad-X) You enter an old academy, just to find out you cannot leave. You enter a robot factory, just to get stuck in a lift. You complete a quest, just to get broken dialogue instead rewards. As soon the mod team will tackle this issues, you can expect exceptionally good mod, but till then, rather steer away. First installment, curiosity took the better of me and using TCL or SQS / Setstage commands, I forced my way through London, ignoring the dozens over dozens DTOs. Reached level 42 and made some good progress, despite not even being sure, to what extend I broke the game by using console commands. Now I started after the patch anew, I am level 20 now, and while some parts got better, many still need polishing & fixing. As for the game play, some quests feel like they could offer more options/solutions, some characters feel deeper, and are probably downplayed. Some stories leave loose ends and questions. Very rarely there is LGBT content, but quite subtle, hence acceptable. Some parts I disliked are inherited from F4 - chaotic fights, where you can hit your ally, and unless you reload, you will lose all good relationship. Or you want to click during dialogue, and shoot the NPC instead ... but that's not problem of this mod. That's just lame bethesda.

Promising mod with technical issues
I purchased Fallout 4 GOTY to support GOG and Team FOLON, but even after a delayed release, this (very impressive) mod released in a buggy, sometimes unplayable state, for myself and many others. I've watched dozens of hours of streams and reviews, and I still can't wait to fully immerse myself in Fallout: London. However, the release version would crash on the title card after the train crash. Recently, their hotfix has released but leaves my game in a worse state, failing to even launch the installer to update my game. Even a fresh install of base game and mod hasn't helped. Once this mod and installer work correctly for me, I will be happy to change my rating. To anyone reading this review: please register this to your library to show GOG and Team FOLON that you're interested in this and projects like it.
