How to be toxic - the game

I'll let you judge. From the description of skills in the game: "CANCEL - We've learned how to CANCEL someone. CANCEL will allow us to isolate people from their friends and compatriots. In battle, this could be a useful tool against enemies." "BULLY - We've learned to BULLY people. BULLY gives us the power to force people to do something they may not want to do, or to make them feel bad about themselves. In fights this could be highly effective on the targeted enemies." "NORMALIZE - We've learned how to NORMALIZE negative emotions. NORMALIZE gives us the ability to make people think certain behaviors or feelings are normal...but I'm not sure it will do much for us in a fight."

Pretty toxic game

Let’s ignore all the “woke” noise, the game itself is just very toxic. It praises toxic behaviors like cancelling people who doesn’t agree with you, allows the player to isolate other characters and even bullying them. I wouldn’t care if the game was like Bully from Rockstar games, because that game shows and parodies that behavior.

Took a chance - Regretted it.

"Dustborn is a single-player, story-driven action-adventure game about hope, love, friendships, robots…and the power of words." Combine this with the 50% discount and ISP download capacity to burn before Jan 1st and I took a chance. Went in blind expecting some of that sentence above to be true and I often take the stand "how bad can it be?" when purchasing unknowns. Sadly 'single player' is the only part of that statement that makes sense. Clunky combat, irrelevant choices (if they can even be called choices), writing so poor I'm not convinced its not generated by an early AI bot. The concept of 'words as weapons' also intrigued me... for about 10 minutes of gameplay before I realized its deep as a puddle and irrelevant. Even Guybrush Threepwood wouldn't have trouble parrying these linquistic diatribes. Not worth it.

Insufferable nightmare

Mediocre graphic and character design. Dialogs, and the story is terrible. I wasted a few hours trying to find anything in that game to justify spending money for it. Seriously, that game looks like a project made by a team of junior game developers.

How to Divide People: The Game

Played on Steam; hated it. A game where you try to 'CANCEL, BULLY' and 'NORMALIZE' behaviors. Behaviours I find appauling, mostly being done to 'FORCE' people to obey than to allow them to think for themselves. Could have a cool game about musicians beating things up like in No Straight Roads or Hi-Fi Rush. But it's been mostly 'MIND CONTROL' a crowd to go after one person while beating up robot's with a baseball bat. I don't reccomend this title; if ya got kids, point them to something from the Good Old Days and keep them far away from this one. I Reccomend buying another game on GOG avoiding this one: Game's I would reccomend? Witcher's 1 through 3, the first at $10, 2nd at $20 and 3rd at $40 full priced. Maybe Cyberpunk 2077 with their new DLC or Fallout 4? If it's still here to purchase, Warraft 1 and 2 would be good buy's as they are in Gog's Restoration program. Dragon Age Origins would be a good investment of time and money. Maybe Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2?
