Great game, played it as a kid and it was too difficult. Having fun playing it again as an adult and not sucking at it.

Descent 1 + 2
This is without doubt the best 3d shooter ever made. It is rare that a game be made with no flaws. I'm a real hard person to impress. This game has the highest replay ever in a game. The best movement. The best graphics (for its time). This game equals instant addiction. The game play is in my opinion second to none. The level design was way ahead of its time. The hidden places, the enemy's that sneak out just when you think your safe. The arsenal of weapons is just unreal. On top of that there are a few mods out there that will enhance the graphics even more. So if you finish this game as is get the mods and its like playing a whole new descent game again. Add to that the more then hundreds of levels you can find online for free. For the price you just can't go wrong. If thats not enough you get both descent 1 & 2.

Perfection
The game that got me into computer games. More than any other game of its time, Descent 2 made you feel like you were zooming into a virtual world. A fantastic soundtrack, amazing gameplay that really is not found anywhere else, and a great atmosphere make this one of my all time favorites.

BEST GAME EVER!
Descent requires fast thinking and real-to-life space shoot-em-up combat. Awesome game! Never gets boring!

The start of a legacy...
Descent is notorious for an action packed gameplay and a good soundtrack to back it. The omni-directional movement scheme makes players think of every angle of attack, an enemy can come from anywhere, at any time. Sometimes even from places you have already been... Watch your back in every corridor as you venture into the mines of the Post Terran Mining Corporation to extinguish the menace that has taken control with an iron (no pun intended) grip. This game can, in semi-rare cases, cause motion-sickness...
