As good as it gets.

Yes, the game had a rocky start but you can't keep me away. Night city looks amazing, the story is okay...side quests offer more. Gameplay is solid. Driving is still a nightmare for me. Just find a car you like and get used to it OR use motercycles, which are superior in every way (also mods may help :) ). I love it and I'm eagerly anticipating the expansion.

Doesn't really include whole soundtrack

I bought this for the soundtrack, the one that plays on the radio. It doesn't seem to include that at all. I expect to get the WHOLE soundtrack when I buy something for the sound track.

Really good game in 2023

I got it in 2023, so well into the later patches by then. As it is, it's a very good game. A cross between Deus Ex and Grand Theft Auto x. The story is good, side quests too, though some are samey. Missions are kind of linear, but there's plenty of choice in how you resolve them. And if you want, you can just ride/drive/run around Night City and its environs causing mayhem or being a good citizen. There's plenty of room for RPG, choices, character development and your interactions with others seem well constructed and their characters well developed. The fate of leading chracters matters, unless you lean towards the sociopathic. The whole Jonny Silverhand thing I thought would suck, but actually it works well. My PCs are old. I play it on a fx6300 with rx570 and fx8350 with rx580. Plenty of RAM in both. The game runs well. I've only had one fuzzy slowdown, but that resolved after and 10 seconds. I don't doubt that it would look better and be smoother with a new powerful PC, but it's great that they optimised it well enough for laggards like me.

Amazing game for 2023

Started playing this game in 2023 due to the bad review upon release, that and this game being first person, had a PS5 back then and hate playing first person in this game and fov was locked for PS5. Fast forward 3 years got a rig with an 13600k and 3090. The good: - Great story, multiple branching choices, deep and impactfull and the side quests are up there. - Great cimematography, the cutscenes take place in places and the set pieces are set up so that the lighting and the atmosphere is just right, sometimes you'll have to skip time just to start a quest. - Great combat, mele, guns, quickhacks, implants, choose your weapon and go forward, can go stealth or guns blazing, or a combination, example sneak up on enemies quckhack them with contagion and self detonate grenade then quickly jump in and finish them off, sneak and improved tendons/anckles really open up a new verticality to the game you littealy feel like the Predator - Game is hard, tying it in to the Predator feeling, the game is hard, I only played in hard and legendary but the game qickly kicks your ass, so progressing really scales up nicely keeping the dificulty and also making you feel awesome, just remember kickback is your friend spam it - Graphics , need I say more ? - Sound, amazing ! - Customization and misc, Night city offers a huge variaty of things to do, buy cars, apartments, clothing, weapons, just a hint , keep your money for cars and apartments or implants, weapon and armor you'll find. Gigs, cyberpsycos and police gigs are markers and on the minimap and offer a great oportunity to farm money and increase your level, Found the gigs to be the best , you can aproach them however you want. Cons: - Bugs! you'll had at least 6 times the game totaly broke on me, didn't knoiw what to do, searched the net, thankfully reloading a save game worked everytime. Small bugs like clipping , invisible characters were few - Game crashed a lot especially in the item menu, undercloking the gpu fixed it

Amazing experience, one of the gratest

Graphics is amazing even on low details, music is amazing, combat is very fun and offers you a lot of possibilities, story is one of the best in gaming, so why this game is so criticized?\ Depends on your computer, you will experience more or less amount of graphic/physic gliches, but for sure there are still a lot of them becaouse of game engine, Yes, the city is not very alive and its not even problem with npcs or performance, in city center you will be delighted, many people, a lot of cars and even if thers movement doesn't make a lot of sense it looks good. Some districts looks very good, but for excample bypasses are lacking of cars, imagine 5 minute ride around city where 6 milion people live and seeing maybe 5 cars. Thats definetly not how it should look. These are my main problems in this game which are annoying. Of course I can mention lack of systems, not very complicated RPG mechanics etc. but thats not the point. Number of good things is... breathtaking and even if bugs and poor city are annoying and obviously there are a lot of drawbacks in this game, its still one of the greatest of all time, magnificant experience, game that every modern gamer shoud at least try.
