This game is awesome
I get the frustration of people running into bugs - while this has become the norm for AAA titles on release and is probably easily fixable with some patience, that's totally valid feedback. I bought it on Stadia (because I wanted to get the free premiere pack) and haven't run into anything that'd really detract from having fun playing. Yes, the graphics aren't as phenomenal as they would be if I was playing locally and yes, there is some pop in and I've hit a bug once where I had to restart and throw a grenade to be able to use my trigger buttons again, but in all honesty, it was easy to workaround. The world in this game is like nothing I've ever seen. The city is vast, detailled and feels more alive than I've seen in other games like AC. The storylines are well written and captivating. I've yet to find a quest that I find uninteresting, and I am a solid 60h into the game. I am more afraid of it ending than anything else. The sound track is ok, not great, but that's not an issue. The worst part of the game for me is probably the driving - I am ok with the motor cycles but oscillate all over the road in cars. NBD. I am pretty interested in what this game will bring in terms of DLC expansions, as the world and mechanisms should make that pretty easy. I am hoping we'll see episodic releases of 40h+ storyline extensions. Man can dream, right? So, in summation: it has flaws, those flaws are in the process of being fixed and pretty par for the course for new releases, but most importantly it's more fun than I've had in a year. Plus, there's potentially a bright future for the game.
