Unfinished? Yes.
Missing Story Elements? Yes.
The game after these first few patch make this game a no brainer Purchase.
To say that this game does not feel like a good investment is a lie.
This game feels really engrossing when you start to get into the virtual sleuth quest. I am at that quest point now. The graphics are phenomenal. This game can only get better. with addons/Story maker modules and MP. this game is going to be better then even NWN was when it came out. Sound and music just really, sets the mood. voice acting is great and faces and skin look so provocative. here's to many years of updates and MP Modules. Skål!
Story, dramaturgy, suspense - it's 11/10. And it's opinion of person, who in general belevies that story in games is as important as in adult movies. The end of act 1 is so moving... The last game, which I had this emotional connection was Max Payne (1&2).
That being sad, game has some issues. Driving is... aceptable, the same is shooting. There is tension in fights, but shooting is not implemented in any good way. Graphics are good outside (Night City is amgazing), on the other hand I don't like interiors. but it might be just a matter of taste.
Overall it's a great game, very simmilar to Witcher 3. In fact for me it's a "witcher with guns'. If driving and shooting was implemented in better way, the score would be 5/5.
I played 1.05 version on Geforce Now.
If Deus Ex an The Witcher Series would have a Baby, it would be Cyberpunk 2077.
If you liked one of these Games, you will enjoy this Game too.
For me, the Game of the Year
Great Graphics.
Just missing a lot of relistic elements, from car shop, apartment purchasing (should be more like GTA 5++) and only a few short adult / sex scene.
Not to mentioned bugs - even the simple Crafting display shows "Haven't reach {\0} level". Can see shoddy quick work by the developer and didn't do any Unit testing / QA.
I am one of those who have been expecting it since 2012 and been hyped, despite the fact that I was pretty pissed off because of the delays. Still, I'm a day 1 player and really enjoyed it on the PC. 100h on one character is definitely worth the price. The game is already great, but with the appropriate bug fixes it will probably get a lot better. . . I'm a little disappointed in a few things. The character creation is a bit weak, touted by CDPR. Tattoos, piercings, all just ready-made presets, although I would have liked a free design like Code Vein. Tattoos that can be placed by yourself like stickers, piercings that can be placed yourself, etc. Luminous tattoos etc. Likewise, the customization of cars via paint and tuning is missing. And very important, nothing can be changed, Ripperdocs insert completely new eyes, but you cannot change your eye color, you get a new tattoo in the story, but you cannot have any more put on your body, you can See the mirror, but don't rewrite your hair there. All wasted potential that is already there and only around the character customization. In addition, it does not affect the game whether you go through the game lethal or non-lethally. Whether you do sidequests or not and in the end you will be squeezed into one end and no further decisions can be made. Decisions - another point that disappoints me very much. Just like the starts, the only start that I really liked was from the corporations.
And despite that I have so much to complain about, I have to say, I love this game and I sincerely hope that they will follow suit, or our dear modders will do it for CDPR.
