Thank you CDPR for making a game that justifies my RTX 3090
Great game, loving it, don't want it to end.
Bought the physical PS4 and the Xbox versions too just to show my appreciation
Yes, launch is riddled with bugs, we've all seen that by now.
I, for one, am absolutely loving my time with the game so far.
Artistically and visually, the game is a masterpiece. Never before have I seen such an amazing Sci-Fi setting in a story driven video game. Sound and music are equally incredible. The Samizdat and Pebkac radio stations in particular really do it for me.
Story so far is great, though I must admit I've been spending most of my time doing the various side jobs and gigs. I really feel like I want to experience as much as possible before reaching the end.
We KNOW they will fix all of the bugs we are experiencing, we also KNOW it's a shame the game launched in this state. Patience once more will be a virtue.
Imagine this game released without ANY of the bugs, we'd all be calling it a masterpiece.
I'm having an absolute blast, and if you're ready to feel immersed, give it a go.
You will love it, like I do.
It doesn't take too long to see through the illusion. If you stand and watch the NPC characters, they all have a glitch or something wrong, they bounce off each other and walk 180 off walls and glide upstairs, someone is spraypainting a wall and nothing is actually happening, someone is sitting drinking in a cafe, with an empty hand, someone pulls a bag of fries out of the pocket and the fries float towards their face. If you stand and watch the cars, sometimes you will see a chain of the same car 4 sometimes 5 of the same car in a row. All very immersion breaking. Like me you may press on and stick to the story, and you will eventually see that this game is more linear than it makes out to be, it's not open world at all, as there is nothing to do out there, it's just padded out, and obviously rushed out and unfinished. No amount of patches or bug fixes is going to make the game, anywhere near close to what it was hyped up to be. Also beware that if you commit to buy this you will have issues getting your money back especially on the other main gaming distribution beginnign with S, whatever you do, if you do buy it, don't go there, they will never refund you if you go over the play limit of 2 hours.
If you want play sandbox action with minigames don't play this game. If you dont like bugs which are in most cases funny wait for patches. But if you like single player games for their stories. This is great story with very good characters and original quets. Characters are great and you care about them and quest are great like in Witcher III or even better.
